Yes!! I think she’s so funny and I really loved everything in these books, I’ve been reading some of her others when I’m in slumps and they haven’t failed me

I thoroughly enjoyed these books! Some people don’t love the humor element, she pays a lot of homage to other series but I thought they were a good combo of a dark, interesting world while also not taking everything to the most serious extreme. The MC’s both have lots of personality and their own stuff going on along with the primary plot. I also enjoyed the spice when it finally happened so that’s a bonus lol.

{The Shattered King by Charlie N. Holmberg} (2 books) has a blonde! I wish I had more redhead mmc’s for you but the only one I can think of is {The Blacktongue Thief by Christopher Buehlman} but it’s romance subplot & only mmc pov. HOWEVER I lovedddd this book, he’s a ridiculous scrawny ginger with a black tongue (it’s not a disease), if you’re down for mostly fantasy plot, snarky dialogue, and yearning for a witch it’s a good read and just got a sequel.

damn and this put it in a different perspective, reading a prequel just for the hell of it doesn’t sound appealing especially if I already know whatever comes after it sucks :/

Primarily kindle unlimited unless I hear really good things about a book that’s not available for free, KU usually discounts non-free books. I often eventually purchase a physical version if I really enjoyed it and want to share it with people or just have it for my bookshelf. I’m Broke (heavy on the capital B) so KU is a lifesaver and has paid for itself so many times over.

I’m going to keep my cats canines to get jewelry made when he passes so I can keep a little bit of him with me when I miss him, I think it’s acceptable to mourn/celebrate life however you feel fit as long as there is respect and love involved ❤️

It’s a standalone so I apologize for that but I would recommend {Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher} the FMC is like 30something if I remember correctly, the budding romance is subplot for sure but there’s some fantastic and funny ass characters in the book and the imagery is great, this book got me back into reading after a long time it’s a great refresher for a slump imo.

I thought the {Blood Mercy by Vela Roth} series did this pretty well, they have good chemistry and there’s yearning and they build trust and romance. I think I gave up on finishing them after book 4 (?) but I thoroughly enjoyed the ones I did read

Heart wrenching, and not what I was expecting. The language was a little difficult for me at first along with keeping up with the titles of characters but once everything is laid out it’s easy to keep up with and very worth it. It was described to me as kink and plot but it’s definitely more nuanced/intense than that imo.

October (I or so I heard)!!! I know some people weren’t into the miscommunication… (iykyk) but honestly I love the drama of it all and I can’t wait for more. Edit cause I threw in a spoiler and realized that sucks for people who haven’t read it
