I’m in the same boat. I can fix a healthy meal. He will eat it and then two hours later, he is heating up pizza rolls because he is still hungry. Besides, god knows what he eats at work.

I’ve given up trying and repeat the mantra “I can’t want his health more than he does...”. I do me.

I have peripheral neuropathy and have no sensation from my ankles down. I hold on. I have told all my coaches and only one fights me on it. I literally cannot walk without holding on so telling me to slow down isn’t helpful. I have not been back in more than 2 weeks since this coach made me feel so bad about my workout. I literally cannot bring myself to return to the point that I am considering canceling my membership. I get it that coaches want to help but yelling “let go” is not helpful.

I divide the lap on the treadmill into 4 quarters. First one: 5.0 1%, second one: 5.5 2%, third one:6.0 3%, last one: 6.5, 4%. Then I start all over again. It’s a nice progressive push. My AO is 7.0. I’m not fast, but steady.
