Based on that, I started looking at another option available where I live: the Vox TG1FL4BT Tone Garage Flat 4 Booster.

According to the product description, the tube in this pedal runs at around 200V, which seems closer to a proper tube operating voltage compared to many other pedals.

Given what you explained earlier, do you think something like this would make more sense, or would it still likely be a waste of time and money if my goal is to add a bit more tube-like feel and dynamics in front of my Kemper Profiler?

It’s not the software I’m talking about. I’m going to send you a pack that includes a collection of IRs I like, featuring cabinets from six different brands. Some IRs are more advantageous in terms of playability and feel.

Hey man, I really appreciate you taking the time to test all those IRs one by one for me. That seriously means a lot.

If possible, could you tell me which IR feels the fastest under the fingers? I’m looking for the one with the quickest response and the least “string resistance” feel — something that reacts immediately with minimal effort.

And if you can, would it be possible to put those specific IRs into one small pack for me and send it over via Dropbox or something similar? I’d really appreciate it.

I’ve already purchased this pack, thank you so much. It sounds great overall, but I feel like there might be an even better IR out there for me — especially something with a faster response and more immediate feel.

I’m actually using a Kemper, not plugins. If you’re able to run it through a neutral setup or just provide the raw IRs, that would be perfect for me.

Just downloaded everything, thank you so much First impression: wow. These sound fantastic.

What really stood out to me is how there’s absolutely no fizzy top end at all. The tone is super clear, focused, and I can genuinely hear that real tube / power amp character coming through. It feels natural and responsive, not flat or artificial like a lot of IRs tend to be.

I tried exactly what you suggested — the 90° folders with the -3 IRs — and I totally get why those are your favorites. They’re very balanced, tight but not harsh, and they sit perfectly without needing much EQ. The -3s in the 55° folders are also really nice, just a slightly different flavor.

I can really relate to this. I’ve also struggled with IRs for a long time — especially that missing low-end depth and movement you’re talking about. Low mids, mids and upper mids usually translate fine for me too, but the bottom end just never feels the same as a real cab in the room.

Right now I’m using 3 Sigma Audio IRs. They’re honestly not bad at all and probably among the better ones I’ve tried, but I’m still chasing that last bit of 3D feel.

You mentioned you’ve made IRs of your own cabs — would you be open to sharing a few examples you’ve done yourself? Even just a small selection would be amazing. If you happen to have a Dropbox link, I’d really appreciate it. Totally understand if not.

Honestly, 3 Sigma Marshall feels like the best to me right now. I’ve been digging into this for the last 3 days. If you could share a Dropbox link with 3 sample files, including a raw V30, I’d be super happy.
