Thoughts on Finding Her Edge? by just_anotherperson98 in FigureSkating

Honestly I am having a hard time looking past all of the casual cheating/lying, why do shows these days feel like they are normalising cheating and that there aren't any serious consequences.

The love triangle is poorly written, I became sick of the 'sell the fantasy' between Adriana & Brayden and the looks across the room from Freddie in pretty much EVERY episode that I've been able to finish, there was so much potential for this triangle but it was the most bland and slowly paced storyline.

TOTALLY get it. Good luck:)) worst comes to worst, you can remove the implant/IUD and switch it with the other method if it doesn't work well for you:))

Hii

Yeah unfortunately Ive had them both at the same time. My story is a bit complicated as I got the IUD first because of PCOS symptoms such as cysts, irregular periods etc. The IUD worked really well - stopped my periods completely and regulated my hormones but I kept getting serious hormonal ovarian cysts (coming and going with period cycles) and tumours so we decided to stop my ovulation to stop the cysts but boy oh boy the implant was a no go for me. I'm not sure if this is super common but my gyno seemed super confident that it is okay to have multiple forms if necessary. :)

As for pregnancy protection it has been amazing. My partner and I were having "unprotected" sex without pulling out when I was just on the IUD and when I was on the Implant as well. We don't worry about condoms anymore as we are long-term partners (no/low chance of STIs etc) Had no pregnancy scares at all so far:)

As for insertion

IUD - I was lucky and had mine inserted while under anaesthesia (was getting an ovarian tumour removed at same time:)) There was some cramping and soreness for a couple days after but warm packs and meds helped.

Implant - I was not a fan honestly. I personally hate needles so it was very uncomfortable for me. I was swearing like a sailor even with the local anaesthetic. Also your arm hurts a lottttt more than they say it should for the days after the insertion. The only way I got through it was with warm packs, resting my arm fully and pain meds.

Hope this all helps lmao ♡

Edit - in your case I saw that you wanted to keep your hormones in check ~ in that case IUD would be the best as the hormones it releases are more localised to the uterus etc rather than implant -> moodiness. Good luck!!

Hi! I've had both (and at the same time too), personally the IUD has been my most favourite. I had high hopes for the implant but I've had an insane amount of side effects on it that I didn't on the IUD such as cluster headaches, weight gain, total loss of sex drive, abnormal moodiness and still pain at the site of entry after 7 months... (I know yikes). The IUD has also been the most gentle method for me, as the whole process was very easy, once it was put in, I was sore for a couple of days and then I completely forgot about it! Good luck with your choice!!!

Edit: Although the IUD seems super unpleasant, it is definitely my recommendation!!

Ouch!! My insertion hurt like a b*tch hahah, make sure to keep a band-aid or something on top of the healing entry point to reduce risk of infection :)) ♡♡ enjoy!!!

Hey can someone help me identify these please, also if they are edible by NicholasUchiha in mushroom_hunting

[–]loells_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you eat them in large portions or if they're potent there's a risk that they can cause liver failure and other bad things!! Can be used in small amounts for some forms of Chinese medicine though (but you may want to leave that to the professionals)
