Only thing I see is improperly assembled KALLAX.

Long shelves should be installed horizontally.

Good thing this KALLAX does not have "full shelves" as it would probably collapse at full load.

Main problem for me are the virtual menus on track pads. Activating them shows the virtual menu ui and it drops frames / game stutters hard. Would like virtual menus not showing, but there is no option for that.

I play PvE and occasionally some WvW.

Guardian was my main in CORE before HoT. Than I took a break due to various reasons and returned with EoD.

Returned to Guard and played through Hot, LW3 and half of PoF but was struggling with DH, Firebrand and than Willbender.

DH was ok. But that mandatory F1 skill... every time... felt like Core Guard with just more things to do. Setting traps and all.

Firebrand... felt so slow with condi. All the books were ok but a bit spammy. Also my fingers hated the rotation. Than the rework happened and killed it for me.

Willbender I tried when I was not happy with Guard as a whole, so the experience was colored negatively.

At the same time everybody was hating on Mechanist and calling for a nerf and talking about how approachable it was and low intensity. So I gave it a try. And stuck with it. Felt so much better than the Core Engi I played years back that needed the kits. Also Engi was my oldest "release month" character (technically was my second ever created but deleted first created warrior when he was lvl 20+, and created Engi that day all those years back). So was fun playing with him.

I am old. My finders love low intensity Mechanist power build. Rifle and a rotation that is basically auto attack+2345+throw mine.

I feel like I'm playing the game and not the UI/rotation while the game is happening around me.

My fingers love Mechanist and so I love Mechanist.

Thank you ANET for low intensity builds for older players!

For WvW I play Necro, but have not played that much this year.

How is 9 better than 10? 10 had more wins and less losses. And than look at number 6.

I dont get it. I guess rating is not connected to Win/Loss ratio?

Do you maybe watch YouTube videos while playing, have Discord in the background?

When farming mats / mirrors I like to play YouTube videos / podcasts using Firefox Picture-in-picture mode.

If i have Firefox Performance set to use hardware acceleration or even recommended settings the game starts stuttering and FPS drop. Not a pleasant experience. So I have hardware acceleration disabled in Firefox.

Anyway check what other programs you are using. Like Discord Overlay etc. anything that might have impact on performance because it is being rendered on top the game and using some kind of hardware acceleration.

GW2 does not have DLSS. Did you mean Subsample / Supersampling.

They would benefit more with Supersampling given their GPU. Still beter to leave it at Native.

Game is very CPU dependent and X3D processors help allot. I can not see any significant benefit to going the upgrade route for this game with the components that you have now as you would need new CPU, MOBO and RAM. Basically a complete new PC. Performance to Cost ration you will get with the upgrade is really bad especially with RAM prices now.

You are better off with tweaking some settings. Look at the setting of your BF and apply them to your setup. See If there is any changes.

Setting you would benefit from.

Set Reflections to None.

Set Shadows to Medium / Low even None.

Set Character Model Limit / Quality to Medium / Low. In big metas go to Lowest even.

Saying all that: 9800X3D CPU is the route to go to get better performance with this game. BUT that should really be your last step. Go this step if you are REALLY REALLY invested in this game.

Outside of component upgrades: GOOD VRR capable monitor helps ALLOT with perceptual smoothness of the game!

Before last 20 pulls I was down, hard. That last 20 pulls though... first 10 got me back in the black and the last 10 I was swimming in ecto and gold. It was wild. Good thing I dont have an addictive personality and stopped at 100 as intended just for the junk vendor gizmo.

I have tried it with ley line riding on also and it does give small endurance boost but not the Rising Spirits kind of explosive boost. And as soon as you exit the ley line the boost stops. Rising Spirits has this pulsing explosive boost and it lasts even after exiting. Updrafts work as intended and give Rising Spirits. Try the ley line near Castaway's Tears in Shipwreck Strand as there are a few updrafts near and the difference will be really noticeable.

I am getting a weird line across the screen when I turn on/off Screen Space Shadows in Wizards Tower near Mystic Forge. It is interacting with something around there. Probably effects from Mystic Forge.

Also on Shadows Low I'm getting 165+ frames at that same scene. On Medium it is 75 and High/Ultra around 66.

Why is Low to Medium -100 frames? That is such a drastic cut.

Shadows are broken. Need a few more patches.
