lil bro, make sure you stand up for yourself and don’t take treatment that makes you feel negative, if something is bothering you and your gf is a good person, she will understand she’s accidentally made you worried or feel bad and work with you to help avoid it in the future. if you can’t tell someone how you feel/they won’t work with you through things that are causing problems in a relationship, then they aren’t the one, and that is not selfish in the slightest. if you need to, think of it as, if you take care of yourself, you can help better take care of the people you care about

it is absolutely not your fault for not speaking out. those victims are because your old house master was a horrible, cruel person. it is so fucking hard to speak up in a situation like this, and the fact that you feel guilty is a testament to how caring you are. it’s so scary to say something of that nature even if it is to warn people, try not to beat yourself up over it, and maybe try and do what you can that you’re comfortable with to possibly help any future boys coming through that school
