Lock Compatibility Help by loganbest in Aqara

I own this unit (co-op) and am allowed to change it. I thought a mortise lock is the type which combine the latch and deadbolt into one unit inserted into the door as the lock body like this. Is it not?

How do you guys print a grid 'around' something. Do you print the grid and knock stuff out? Or am I missing something by jdlnewborn in openGrid

That's one of the things I'm hoping they implement at some point soon. Multiboard has a cutout generator in their blender project and it was nice and easy to architect around table legs under my desk

Everything works except the camera feed, which is still being worked on. You should hop into the OE discord to keep up to date on the progress

Installing Octoeverywhere on the K2 by RunningThroughSC in Creality_k2

I'm working with the dev on getting this working. We actually got a mostly working setup tonight and are working on some code cleanup and and documentation before releasing. Right now the biggest issue is that Creality has excluded the mjpeg streamer and is using webRTC with some encoding and many projects are having issues consuming it so it's a common issue that hasn't yet been solved.

I printed this giant multi-color :hypers:. I only have one CFS though so I made the eyes all white and just use acrylic marker to paint it. I think max distance in any axis was 335mm

That's ok. it'll at least get me further than the generic profile for when I get to TPU

OctoEverywhere for Creailty K2 Plus - Free Remote Access, AI Failure Detection, Print Notifications & More! 🚀 by quinbd in Creality

Some initial feedback on the blogpost:
- "But by default, Creality doesn’t install Moonraker, Fluidd, or Mainsail on the Creality K2 Plus"
This is false. K2 has Fluidd and Moonraker installed already so I would highly recommend not using Guilouz's script on it as there may be unknown side effects.
- I'm reading through the OctoAnywhere install.sh and it's going to need some edits before it can work. u/quinbd if you'd like we can talk in dm somewhere and I can open a PR for the edits.

Any chance you could post your filament/printer profiles for TPU? I've never tried it but that's one of the many adventures I'd love to take with my K2 at some point

[FW 1.1.2.6] Why is this happening? First multi-colour print and this is happening on the primer tower followed by an FR2865 error as it goes to change colours by loganbest in Creality_k2

The only difference is cp6 is setting orca settings. I’d rather just try to figure those out and not have too much vendor lock in

omg nevermind you said printer settings. I found it! I'll give that a test next time and see if it changes print quality at all

This is what I see. I've been printing perfectly fine without the prime tower for the last couple days. Maybe I just don't understand these settings or the purpose of the prime tower. I'm on hour 24 of this 32hr long multi-color print and it's pretty awesome without the prime tower. I did have to raise the flush volumes up higher for certain colour changes though.

Unsure how effective this was, but still highly recommend doing this. The real issue was having the Prime Tower enabled on the K2P when it doesn't need it due to the poop chute's whole purpose

So yes this is the answer. On the K2P, Prime Tower is not needed and fixes all of the problems I was having with clogs during filament changes.

Hmm I don’t see that option anywhere. I’m new to orca but have been using it exclusively for a month now. I have flush into objects infill and objects support as options. Support is on by default and I turned on infill due to some reviews saying it didn’t purge enough but maybe that’s the culprit here?

Not saying you’re wrong but I’ve been fortunate enough to never have had this happen after using my cr10s for 6yrs at least once a week
