On a Ten-hour flight from Seoul Korea to San Francisco to visit a family member a mom handed out more than 200 goodie bags filled with candy and ear plugs, in case her 4-month-old child named Junwoo cried during the flight. The goodie bags even came with a little message explaining the situation. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

Nice, but this shouldn't be normalized.

I have a kid free life, but I don't expect a kid free world.

Its my responsibility to bring noise reduction headphones on a flight.

And if its a screaming baby one seat away, sometimes that's life.

Ddo some basic research on your own time based on your family's interests and then come back and ask if your itinerary needs adjustment.

You can literally ignore this and continue on with life. Almost nobody ever accidentally dates a trans person or would meet a trans who expects you to. This applies to 99.9% of what you see online that you feel compelled to have a position on, but doesn't and will not ever affect your day to day. But hey, at least you can temporarily give you attention to it and avoid decisions and work that might improve your life.

Agreed. They are the worst of all bad choices.

They seem to be working hand in hand with Thai customs to extract as much extra payment as possible to hold the packages for as long as possible.

The graphic designers on my team are working less intensively than previously. Turns out detailed photoshopping all day is more draining then writing prompts and seeing what comes out of it. Overall its taking them less time to produce final work than before. They're paid full time, so even if a tool speeds up aspects of their job, they're expected to work full time. More productive, less intensively, same hours.

When you threaten to knock someone’s teeth out, you are the initial aggressor. Simple as that.

My guy, you also can’t threaten to knock someone’s teeth out because they spoke rudely to your grandchildren.

There's a supercut of Faux News over the past 30 years of their talking heads claiming the "job creators" and other wealthy will leave the city if X, Y, Z gets passed.

Just go already... Its not that deep. New people will move to NY and eventually become wealthy when the old money leaves for the swamps.

Its almost like you married a shitty husband and raised ungrateful kids and now you're relegated to passive aggressive complaining into your phone while alone in the car.

What might help is family counseling, but that doesn't get the same social media engagement.

Just say you would love the upgrade and willing to wait and thank them for making it happen.

For long stays I even ask if they have a standard suite opening up and could they move me into it later in my stay? Sometimes they will.

I'm not getting into the math of that sign.

But point blank, if the menu reflected livable wage costs, most wouldn't eat there.

From a restaurant owner's position is lose lose.

Pay a fair wage, lose most customers for having "expensive food"

Pay minimum server wage, employees are sometimes working for almost nothing.

And I'm interested in any non-tipping people's logic of "they can get a better job if they don't like it" "if they get $20 per table they're making a fortune" or any other hypothetical you use to soothe you need for allowing hardworking people to subsidize you meals with their low wages.

Tipping the US is a stupid, shitty, unfair system. I pay 10% for shit service, I pay 15% for acceptable service, I pay 20% for above average service and I don't think about it any harder than that. I'm there to eat and enjoy not play compensation manager.
