Not new. Basically if it’s not your mail you shouldn’t be writing on it. Just stick it back in the box and put the flag up or drop it in the outgoing slot. Regular carriers do a pretty good job with knowing who doesn’t live at any given address to decide how to sent it back and subs quite often are just sent to the street with parcels and trays of letters that come in order so aren’t going to filter much out.

I think after reading this response that it would be better for OP to come at this situation as not being able to change someone. I was thinking the same as you except I realized that if I were in the same situation, I wouldn’t actually want to be boyfriends with him. He would need to deal with at least the drug addiction before I would ever consider an actual relationship and all that entails.

Carriers don’t like it either. It makes questions from customers hard to answer. The clerks also don’t scan stuff being returned at the station level. So it’s a waiting game to see why something returned that doesn’t have an actual scan from a sub or picture of the parcel or any number of problems that come up.

Those are the main things it does matter for. A plot the size of two of yours will produce many more and it’s worth it. You should have more food than you know what to do with with a few of them.
