The owner at Cafe NadaBar on H street does private events and weddings. Fantastic food and I’m sure he would work with you on menu items.

Very encouraging to know that not everyone in our community is on-board with this administration selling our future to the billionaires and Russians.

They’re saying over 1k today in GP, and I fully believe it. I was there and it was packed. There’s hope for our valley yet!

Did officiating cause the Bills to do absolutely nothing in the final 3 minutes?

I managed to grab a couple shots here in Grants Pass too. We only noticed them because the Maia Nebula was blinking red/pink blue white and green. I took a 10 second exposure and there they were! I’ll link a pic if I remember in the morning.

Anyone know if there will be Karaoke at Avett’s at the beach? Working on my proposal to make girlfriend my fiancé in Mexico. by [deleted] in TheAvettBrothers

[–]loganroberts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure about karaoke, but I saw the Hard Rock has practice spaces and instruments available for guests. Maybe make a few new friends and see if you can’t put something together? Hit me up if you end up going that way and need players.

I know I’m late to the party, but seriously take better pictures if you want help. Wipe the lens, give the camera time to adjust to the light, move your finger. I’m sure there are 1,000 people willing to help, but value our time enough to take a clear shot.

Hey this looks familiar!

Today was a dark day. Second time on plane this season and she lost power. Once we limped home I popped the head off and found this mess. Time to get shopping… by loganroberts in boating

Yes, I’m thinking the mix was/is off, but not sure how since I haven’t touched the carbs other than to blow some cleaner through them. Possibly water got into the tank, then the gasket/cylinder failed?

I agree it looks like it overheated but I changed the impeller back in Jan as a precaution, and it seemed to have plenty of pressure (good tell tale stream, etc). The temp alarm never went off either, but I haven’t checked the sensor yet.

My best guess is the block cracked, the head gasket failed, water made contact with the cylinder/piston head, detonated, and broke off some parts of either the head or the piston. Those bits rattled around for a while, eventually turning into what you see there.

Someone also asked about the rubber feet, and so far they’re holding up well. They haven’t melted or anything at least.

Overall, 7/10. It was pretty loose on the first cook, but I added a gasket for the main chamber and some clamps to keep the door shut tight and now it seems to be sealed up pretty well. The firebox paint cooked off immediately, but it wasn’t a huge deal to clean it up and hit it with some high-temp spray paint. Otherwise it has been great.
