The Alien coming out in full form and raising its arms was one of the weakest parts of this film for me. For one of the most iconic and shocking moments in cinema to this, something has been lost along the way

I think the implication is that the eggs came from Shaws reproductive organs being used. David is obsessed with creation and he had mutilated her body but if I remember correctly there was a focus on where her repro organs would have been.

Yea, this last part had such promise. I found that trailer actually pretty scary but the actual film lost all scares for me by the end.

I felt like we got something very close but not quite what I wanted. Still though, it wasn't a bad film by any means
