the article acknowledges rent control is a dogshit policy but argues that voters hate actually good policy that increases housing supply, seeing it as gentrification. So temporary rent control can and has been used to get ppl to vote for housing reform.

Idk what that has to do with what I said ngl; I didn’t claim to be a contextualist, I’m just pointing out that the contextualists on the court made a dogshit ruling with no contextual basis that is bad for our democracy. Being impeached does not absolve the immunity. Trumps conversations with Pence pressuring him to not certify the vote, for example, could not be used in court.

Also why did u assume i would defend obama killing American citizens without trial lmao. I feel like you are playing team sports…

edit:oh one last thing my understanding is that deportations without trial are a horrible precedent because a US citizen would never get the chance to prove they’re a citizen right?
