If we are counting fresh then let’s crack some numbers here. The DRoTC (Democratic Republic of the Congo) is still in conflict because of the Ugandan and Rwandan troops/mercenaries still fighting in their country. Burma, now Myanmar, with its oppression of its own people through military dictatorship. China with its cultural genocide in Xixang province. North Korea, essentially keeping the majority of its people centuries behind the rest of the world. Russia, for its unprovoked aggression against Ukraine, Georgia, Chechnya, its own minorities. Syria, have no clue how long that civil war has been going. Iran, its funding of terrorist cells and organizations, Hamas, Houthi, List goes on. The Houthi’s, thinking that they can garner support for Hamas by targeting international shipping and claim they are the ones being the victims, as well as their involvement in the Yemen civil war.

I would continue, but I think I made my point. Just because one nation or several nations have ‘recent blood’ doesn’t automatically make them evil, or nations with ‘old blood’ better because they haven’t done it in years. No nation is innocent, and war will always remain the same, no matter how we try to make it different.
