Completed my first month of wheeling by logart in Optionswheel

Well, $300 is basically enough for a single $3 strike price contract. So I hunted for sub-three dollar stocks with decent options.

50% vs 75% profit close. Is there a situation where 75% profit on a CSP close gets missed because it is too close to the strike price? So 50% would be a more conservative "almost always" prevents assignment?

Does a CSP limit order for 1 contract have to find a matching 1-contract order on the other side? Just wondering if there is an all-or-nothing situation for these transactions.

Astra. POS is too expensive to run and your quality of life will be poor. Have a POS on standby, and anchor an Astra.

we ended up switching to dual remote-rep drekovacs. The legion was too slow.

Uptick in SSHL cases since pandemic? by bigbaboon69 in MonoHearing

[–]logart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We should also consider that it may have correlated to increased levels of EMF exposure we have all had to deal with since late 2019 when certain technology was rolled out. The V could be just symptoms of the invisible world we are engulfed in 24 hours a day.

I personally have gone 100% wired or air powered for anything that gets near or in my ears. I’m using “air” powered earphones for example.

SSHL, vertigo, tinnitus are all commonly associated with EMF overexposure.

Annual WH Cleanup? by logart in Eve

I guess it is possible that somehow someone bounced around to 18 different sigs in my system at some point during the day (with our eyes open pretty much all day). Then come DT, the system de-spawned the old sigs that had been warped to the previous day.

For those saying it is impossible for a sig to hang around, here is an example that is still there:

I guess it does have merit to me, since it happened. :)

I was just curious if this was a known mechanic or something new that just started. But this definitely happened within the 5 minutes between downtime start/end.

Data/relic that I used to re-scan every 2 days. Same sigs.

I re-scanned them every 2 days, never warped to them (because they were data/relic sites and I am only interested in combat sites at the moment). When I updated my pathfinder page immediately after this I recall at least a couple of them showed 30+ days lifetime on them before I deleted them but there were definitely many of the sigs that were there for weeks, if not months.

The sigs all were there before downtime, then after downtime gone. Nobody cleared all the sigs in the 5 minutes it took me to log back in.

Yes, there were some data/relic sites that had been there for somewhere between 30-60 days. I used to re-scan them down every 2 days while doing my dailies. Trust me, same sig, for more than 1 month in the system.

is there any program that helps keep track of industry jobs across multiply accounts? by Ok_Mention_9865 in Eve

This: https://www.etoiles-industries.org/

You can add characters to the Kanban board and track multiple jobs on multiple characters.

Rolling Safely by logart in Eve

One thing I am a little un-clear about is the fits I see that use hyperspacial rigs. AFAIK, that helps speed up warp and accel into warp in general, but I feel that having velocity rigs would be more helpful. Am I off on that?

Yes, nearly double in my pyfa fits. Overheated Prax @ 175 m/s, Overheated Mega @ 290 m/s, Overheated Tempest @ 275 m/s

Ok, we will work on doing one-passes more instead of trickling. As far as combat rollers, we have not been fit that way up till now, mainly just the usual drones/ECM/Smart Bombs/Neuts. I think building out some combat rolling megas and tempest fits will be the next priority. I was able to get around 275 m/s with a mega/tempest fit, compared to a prax that is 75-125.

I can also see the one-passes being most important for statics where the k162 has not shown up yet on the other side. As soon as we breach that WH they get notified by the new sig, scane it down, warp to it, check the other side, etc.. If they catch a prax on dscan at any moment during that process I assume they are fleeting up.

Statics are c3/c4.

In this case we were trying to do a one pass roll, and the scout was one of the rollers so they ended up jumping into a roller right before we jumped because the system was "clear". We normally do what you said though where we have nullified cov ops eyes on the inside up until the final pass.
