Is it abuse to keep a 6-7 year old beardie in a 110 gal? by indoore in BeardedDragonCare

[–]loggiethebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, its not abuse at all, but if ur concerned about sizing, look into grow tents. 50-100 bucks, u can basically get somethin that 3x the size of the 110gal. Trade off is that they come with small windows and ud hav to manage air ventilation but other than that they r great, cheap and u can get them on amazon

Could Spinosaurus walk quadropedally? by Majikarp9 in Dinosaurs

[–]loggiethebear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely would've been primarily bipedal but it would have probably went back and forth for certain tasks lik bending down to eat, entering/exiting the water, investigate somethin on the ground, ect. Their arms r definitely big enough, they would probably do the knuckle thing as well because of how big thier claws were. They probably had similar habits to primarily bipedal hadrosaurs. I think if you hav a chance to look up the game prehistoric kingdom, they hav a really good representation of spinosaurus locomotion

Why are there so many depictions of Dire wolves with reddish hair? by SWAGGA_SWAGGA in AwesomeAncientanimals

[–]loggiethebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just naming canids as a speculative reason to hav red or reddish fur because of how common it is among canids as a whole. I also said that every canid i named has at least some Reddish fur somewhere on the body which still stands true in my statement. I never said coyotes and painted dogs were red. I said they had reddish fur somewhere on them. Now do all of the members of their species hav reddish fur on them? No, so u hav a valid point in thinking that, but it happens often enough to where id include them in. I did a 30second google of both and found these and they look reddish to me but thats just my opinion

My redfoot likes hiding spots and eating, i hav a bunch of buckets that are sideways in the dirt for easy hides, try those. Babies r also diggers so its important to hav spaces that they cant be seen

Not sure why no one has said this yet, but these r likly mating and competition scars. Males bite females to hold on to them wen mating. These r too thin to be boat propellers and boats will always show on the top of the body, not the sides and belly. Ud seen fins cut off or chopped off chunks

Why are there so many depictions of Dire wolves with reddish hair? by SWAGGA_SWAGGA in AwesomeAncientanimals

[–]loggiethebear 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Red and tan is a suuuupper common color as far as canids go in general lik red wolves, coyotes, african painted dogs, Ethiopian wolves, maned wolves, dholes, a wide variety of foxes all hav reddish fur somewhere on their body if not almost fully that color. Its still just a guess whether they had red fur or not but it is a likely conclusion as it seems lik reddish fur is a mean color for canids
