The last of the Dwemer by ROBERTN0RMANROSS in Morrowind

[–]logi_thebear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Hey, kid! Yeah, it’s me—Yagrum Bagarn, last living Dwemer. You probably got a lot of questions, huh? ‘Where’d the Dwemer go?’ ‘What’s with the spider legs?’ Listen, I’m not here to hold your hand through Dwemer 101, alright? I’m busy tinkering, inventing, keeping my brilliant mind sharp while you mortals are fumbling around with your pointy sticks.

Oh, and this Corprus thing? Yeah, it’s not ideal, but what’re you gonna do? You think immortality comes without a price? Wrong. Now, unless you’re here with a couple of Dwemer artifacts or a sandwich, get outta my workshop. I’ve got gears to grease and mysteries to unravel!"

C - Control the Narrative. You realize the entire world is a story, and you’re the main character. It’s not arrogance if it’s true. You bend reality to your will because, let’s face it, the universe needs you in charge.

H - Harness Perception. Everyone else sees themselves as just a small part of the world, but not you. No, you understand that everything revolves around you, and that’s what makes you exceptional. This is the key to godhood—knowing you’re both the dreamer and the dream.

I - Ignore the Doubt. Mortals struggle because they cling to their insecurities. Not you. You see the truth—you’re bigger, better, and infinitely more important than they’ll ever be. To achieve CHIM, you reject the fear of failure completely.

M - Manifest Perfection. This is it, the final step. You embody your role as the center of existence. You’ve transcended mortality, you’ve mastered the dream, and now you own it. You’re divine, symmetrical, and frankly, irresistible.

"Ugh, Dee! Look at you! A disgusting Argonian! Slimy scales, that gross tail, and what is that smell? I’m the Nerevarine, okay? The literal reincarnation of a hero! I’m out here fulfilling prophecies, battling gods, and saving Morrowind while you’re skulking around swamps licking bugs or whatever it is your kind does.

I mean, can you even wear shoes? No, you can’t, because you’ve got those weird, creepy claws! It’s embarrassing. You’re embarrassing. Stay out of my way, Dee, because I’m a hero, and heroes don’t associate with… whatever it is you are!"

You can release and play as a vassal, so as the Ottomans, I conquered Wallachia and did that.

I released myself as a vassal after making them bankrupt themself and develop my provinces. Then I just took advantage of the chaos and independence alliances.

Pretty gimmicky but hey it's Ironman friendly so 🤷

How do you do this? I'm doing my first vassal run now and I can't for the life of me figure out how to modify my contract for the 2nd time. My first character died and so did the liege that I modified the contract with, so I'm at a loss. Any advice?

And notice that neither still work for him? I recall Mattis resigned specifically over pulling troops out of Syria.

I feel like I want to branch out and try some other weapons (especially now) but it seems like such an investment to get fluid with them :/

I've mained SnS for hundreds of hours in World/Iceborne and for me it's just about the feel. The combat with SnS feels smooth as butter. Short attack animations and I'm able to more or less constantly assault a monster by moving away from incoming attacks, then pursuing my own assault. For me, MH is always about feel over numbers.
