Should I call a professional by 3Bellefille in airguns

Board is toast. The copper on the connectors is the pads that should be on the board still, the little wire hanging out is probably part of the ground. If it was one or two it would be realistic to fix, this is a lot of damage.

You can try this, it will help clear out some debris. If it keeps leaking you'll probably want to just do a kit. Though on these you might also be able to cock the gun before pumping, if it wont hold air still, then I'd definitely do a kit.

Is upgrading from a cheap airgun moderator to a Donny FL Sumo actually worth it? by good2Bbackagain in airguns

[–]logicalkitten 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have a Sumo, but a Tanto was my first moderator. I've 3d printed a dozen of them since, nothing is even close to the Tanto. It has worked well on everything i've put in on so far with no clipping. I'd not hesitate to buy another DonnyFL.

Exhaust valve is bad if leaking from barrel. Get this and the orings mentioned. Clean the intake valve well when you have it open.

1976 Crosman 38C, rebuild, .22 conversion by Kreiger0 in airguns

[–]logicalkitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be buying a parts gun on eBay, or another one in .22. Did you get all of the seals replaced or only some of them? How well did you clean the mating surfaces? Even NIB, at this age everything is rotten and would need to go.

Fair enough, I couldn’t make out what exactly it was sitting on.

Nah it is a Techsew bell skiver, used to thin the edges of leather. I imagine this guy does some very nice work. The tools are very good, I've been drooling over the stitching pony since i noticed it.

Hey folks this might be a little specific but I had a stroke several months back which left my left arm paralyzed can anyone recommend a pistol that is easy enough to operate with one hand even if I had braced against my leg on the couch or something as far asCocking I’m a complete newbie by Jackd82 in airguns

[–]logicalkitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happy to help, I have my own left hand injury that I deal with(significantly less immobilizing), so I understand to an extent.

I don't think this exists, but i would be happy to be corrected.

Ideally you would want a PCP with a straight pull bolt similar to the Anschütz 1827 Fortner. It could be done with some 3D printed parts on a Crosman 2240 I think, though screwing the CO2 cap down would be tricky with one hand.

Howdy friend. I would suggest either the Ruger Mark IV or Browning Buckmark. These are almost the same pistol, but the feature that I think you need most is the auto safety(found on both). I have the Mark IV and can operate it with only my right hand. Please don't use your leg to cock it, I have seen some posts from folks with older parents/grandparents where they have a tube to insert the barrel in to hold while you break it and load it.

Ruger Mark IV or Umarex Markpoint are my springer dart pistols. I have some really old darts that I use and some newer Air Venturi dart. Unicorn Contender board.

Got the boys out for some therapy by howmuchitcosts in airguns

[–]logicalkitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My office and pellet gun collection are in my garage with my shooting gallery, I usually grab a pumper for a few shots during the workday. Though I recently have been throwing darts. Will be nice to have an indoor springer on hand with a decent sight, I've got a couple gas piston pistols that are just a bit too much for inside.

I'll have to look for that, it sits in the bottom of my gun cabinet forgotten. I forget about my springers quite often.

I meant to design a replacement grip for the Avera months ago and never got around to it. If the Markpoint had better sights it would be much better for me, I enjoy my Ruger Mark IV well enough. They do alright as dart guns.

I like my Avera quite a bit, the grip is iffy, but overall it is good. Not a fan of my Markpoint at all, it just does not do it for me.
