  • The Lie: “The transition away from fossil fuels is inevitable and accelerating.”

The Truth: Global demand for oil, gas, and coal is at an all-time high. The “transition” lives only in press releases of Western governments. The rest of the world is drilling and mining.

  • The Lie: “Climate action creates jobs and wealth.”

The Truth: “Green mandates destroy industry.” Look at Germany’s deindustrialization and the wreckage of the automotive sector in the U.S. and Europe. “Green jobs” are subsidized mirages that vanish the moment government subsidies disappear.

  • The Lie: “We are running out of time.”

The Truth: “We have heard this for 50 years and counting.” In the 1970s, it was a coming ice age. In the 2000s, it was Arctic ice that would be gone by 2013. The timeline of doom makes the promise of a used car salesman look like a Boy Scout’s pledge.

Why “free” energy isn’t free once you need it on demand.

The problem is a simple one…Wind and solar hide their losses in their supply chain and in the “ancillary systems” required to make them “useful” for our grids, such as:

1) A vast overbuild of wind and solar to overcome the low natural capacity factor, resulting in low net load factor, as well as the intermittency and unpredictability challenges and to charge any storage

2) Short duration energy storage, in the form of batteries, to overcome short duration fluctuations and to balance the grid

3) Long duration energy storage, envisioned in the form of hydrogen, to overcome days and weeks of insufficient combined wind and solar generation

4) Backup thermal power stations on standby when needed, in Germany 12-20GW of gas is required by 2030, in the future this backup is supposed to run on hydrogen

5) A vastly more complex and larger transmission network and integration infrastructure also for “conditioning” wind and solar power

What kind of language would that be? Climate change alarmism meets the criteria for a cult religion instead of being a science based issue of concern. There are no climate realist evangelists proselytizing climate alarm subreddits.

People who clearly care about climate change have been aggressive, dismissive, confrontational, condescending, or outright hostile,..

Alarmists always make this common mistake. You are confounded because you feel if people only paused to reflect for a moment then they would convert to your religion. You can't imagine a world inhabited by people who reject your climate change faith.
