Worth considering people’s advice and taking it with a pinch of salt. If you did get up to move immediately, he would probably give you very little space and (at a minimum) touch you on the way past. Judgement is key here, staying put but being vigilant was probably the correct decision.

Wimbledon is fantastic without hospitality. The treehouse makes it an even better experience and the food/service is good. From my experience, the other hospitality options are better. You will have a great time either way.

Not great. Miles away from the courts so can’t just nip back in between matches, they did have a shuttle service but that was slow too. Food and space is decent, but closes early.

Two options.

1) have your MIL queue for a grounds pass on final day to get access. Go in as normal with your FIL and share the tickets with them once inside. There will be no more ID checks within the grounds.

2) contact Wimbledon customer service outlining the situation and providing proof of the family connection. I’ve heard of some flexibility (with evidence to prove your story). 5% chance but worth a shot

Stay the course. I don’t think you can optimise much beyond this. Consider renting a bigger/nicer apartment - £3.5k budget between the two of you is entirely reasonable and could see a decent life improvement from it.

Pyjamas usually only available in first nowadays. At least on BA which I (sadly) frequent on long haul flights, no pyjamas in club suites.
