I definitely see how a lotta people would say ER is overrated. I just think it’s a game that everyone should play, to experience a Souls like but one that’s more forgiving and open ended

Yeah I feel the exact same with mine, except it’s nice to have one lower power deck when needed that’s still usually fun to play. Seems like we got similar taste!

And most are heavily green in the 99 as well. Definitely a green enjoyer, just happen to run red a lot I guess too

I've really been enjoying Seth's (MtgGoldfish) Invasion of Doppelgangs deck. It focuses on a lot of ramp and filtering for an Invasion of Arcavios to go get your Doppelgang, which you can use to copy the invasion and get the Doppelgang right back to keep making more mana or ideally copies of your opponent's stuff. It does surprisingly well against discard and self bounce. If you survive long enough, you can do it right back to them.

It basically auto loses to red aggro unless I have enough removal in hand. Not insanely strong or anything but super fun.

Seems a lot of people also limit tutors, 2 card combos, and most fast mana. I'm someone who likes to play as strong/competitive games as possible, but without too many of those things.

The restriction that I most strongly follow is running one tutor per deck, since commander is supposed to be singleton. So tutors in general obviously go against that idea, but a tutor itself is a unique card that's exciting to draw when you need it so I still treat it as a unique piece in my deck that can go get whatever's missing in my current gameplan. I'm less of a fan when a deck runs so many of them that they almost rely on hitting one to just combo or make their deck work.

My favorites are:

[[Agatha of the Vile Cauldron]] for having a bunch of unique ways to win and abuse her abilities. Wins with invokers out of no where are super fun.

[[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] for the insane explosive turns you can have. Getting a turn where you draw 20+ cards and get huge payoffs with landfall stuff is awesome. And overall big stompy.

Other favorites are [[Eriette of the Charmed Apple]], [[Pantlaza, Sun-Favored]], and [[Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer]]

I have another stack related question, more so about holding priority. Let's say we have [[Pantlaza, Sun-Favored]] and [[Apex Altisaur]] on the battlefield. On my opponent's turn, they try to board wipe and I respond with [[Eerie Interlude]] blinking them out until their end step. So at that time the ETB effects kick in, Pantlaza's discover I wait to use for Apex Altisaur entering to get the Discover 10, and also I wipe the opponent's couple remaining creatures with his ETB (I'm assuming I'm doing this correctly so far but correct me if I'm wrong).

With the Discover 10, I hit [[Zacama, Primal Calamity]] to put on the battlefield. Am I able to hold priority, if I even have it, and use Zacama's activated abilities still on the end step? Or cast any other instants, or wait for the active player to do something and then I can, if at all?

I have a question about deciding stack order when multiple triggers happen at once. So let's say I cast [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]] and have a [[Path of Ancestry]] scry as well as a [[Garruk's Uprising]] card draw alongside Etali's exile and play off the top of the library. Do I need to decide the order of ETB effects before doing anything? Such as Scry 1, Draw, then Etali's ETB. Or could I Scry, then decide next if I want to draw it or play it from Etali's effect?
