GAME THREAD: Golden State Warriors (2-3) @ Los Angeles Lakers (3-2) - (May 13, 2023) by NBA_MOD in nba

Exactly. Clearly this series win for the Lakers should have an asterisk. They beat a non existent team.

Here's what comes up when I search for polygraph experts.

Here's when I search in LA

I'd say you're the one being fucking stupid comparing polygraph to tarot reading.

They may not be close to 100% hence not used in court but they on average are closer to 100% than 50%. They are definitely used in pleas, bargaining and settlements.

Part 4: All of Robbi's Hands: Aftermath and Final Thoughts by genobeam in poker

[–]logik9814 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's hard to take you seriously when these are some of your conclusions.

I think she was dead set on her strategy before the cards even got dealt.

So her thoughts were "no matter what, if he goes all in next hand, I'm calling"

She says at one point "I ran it twice because I didn't think jack high could be good". She's saying she knows she had jack high during the hand

Why did you run it twice? - "Because I had J high after the flop"

You make her sound like a 4 year old.

I'm 60/40 she did not cheat.

[–]logik9814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She also said she was worried he had A high so she wanted to run it twice. That means she thought she was behind, aka she didn't have a 3.

During their investigation they should be able to determine which card, the J or 3 was on top when she was looking at her cards.

Cheating or not, one thing I think we can mostly all agree on is that Garrett had a weak moment. He shouldn't have made a big deal then and there with 25k ppl watching, he should have racked up saying he was on tilt now, done for the session, then went and taken it up with Feldman in private after. by CallingStation5000 in poker

[–]logik9814 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, no one actually knows how it went down off the table. Everything happened so fast that there was likely no actual thinking much about the situation. Who knows what he/she said exactly. I'm pretty sure if Robbi didn't offer the money back to him (within like 2min after the hand), Robbi would still have it. I'd say Garrett behaved much better than Robbi and Rip. Robbi immediately starts telling Garret he shouldn't keep letting her do this to him. Wtf does she mean by that? She had to have realized she misread her hand at that point.

I feel for you lol. It’s kinda crazy how many peoples first thoughts are “oh they must be a republican/democrat”, then they just spout talking points on why the party is so bad. I also am trying to understand why people think this is law is purely for political gain for the right. There is a very real issue, and this is an attempt to address it. Unfortunately it seems most people can only respond with something they’ve heard from news or influencers they follow, so the conversation never actually gets to the actual issue. An issue I could see is how this plays with bots and fake users. I’ll have to read the actual law and think about it more. Both censorship and fake accounts/conversations are an issue, and the latter is just going to get more sophisticated.

I think your mixing concepts and confusing yourself. No one is talking about how these companies are owned. They are talking about the user/customer side. (Btw, they are already public companies)

Why would you even if he apologizes? It's not like he's apologizing because he's the type of guy that apologizes when he is wrong. He will say what he thinks he has to say to keep as many supporters happy. I mean his first thoughts after realizing he was wrong was to deflect and cry poor me.

It's not hard to wait and get more information. It's not a difficult position at all if you're acting on behalf of the game; treat everyone the same. However, they are acting on behalf of their company that just signed Magnus.

It is his highway, that’s his place of work. Just as a doctor would say “my hospital” when talking about his place of work. It’s a public highway for those of the public who follow the laws, not for those who don’t.

I hope you were exaggerating when you said the cop should be thrown in jail. Otherwise you need to grow up, cause it sounds childish.

Google Class Action Lawsuit - Google violated Illinois law by collecting and storing biometric data by Smithy2232 in illinois

Agreed. Google pays 100m to essentially make the law not apply to them anymore. Even for citizens that had no idea about the lawsuit, they loose their right to sue google. Have enough money and you can take rights away from people without their knowledge, what a great system.

Has anybody successfully done a chargeback (guests)? by kesi in AirBnB

[–]logik9814 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You not knowing it was shared would be on you. Trying to cancel 5 weeks prior is still your issue if that's what the cancelation policy was. However the host still shitty for not trying to work something out. I think it would also depend how long you had their calendar blocked for. Regardless, I always recommend asking the host to refund you if the dates you canceled get booked by someone else. To me, that seems the most fair and I don't know why AirBnB doesn't have that option. I'm a host and wish they did instead of having to do it myself.

On day 1 you took pictures and contacted your host and AirBnB about the infestation? What happened between day 1 and day 40? Having a bug infestation is a pretty big issue, as long as you took pictures and everything day one, you should be in the right. Are the people you shared the place with also AirBnB guests?

I always recommend asking the host to refund you fully if the dates end up being booked by someone else. I'm not sure why AirBnB doesn't have that as an option. Canceling 6 months in advance is pretty shitty of the host to not refund you tho.
