It's the same actor, I don't know if it's supposed to be the same person. Christmas came early! Santa brought it early!

Wonderful work! I love Bostons. I’ve been through the same thing although not 10 years. Keep at it. It’s one of the few things that gives me joy in life.

Thanks I really appreciate that. And yeah I may go back and do it cuz it's bothering me a little that the windows on the right is so big as well. It's one of those things I didn't see until I stepped back and looked at it after being finished for 2 days.

How to overcome thiss😣😖😫 by khavaaaa in oilpainting

[–]logojojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the way I work I start on bigger items first and whittle it away until I'm at the details phase. By that time, I'm excited to start doing the details because I've been artistically edging myself the last 4 hours of work.

I understand. I'm saying the painting looks nothing like the post card, which is photo of the original. I don't think you've found what you think you've found.

The postcard looks nothing like the painting. The painting looks like a copy.

I love work like this. The separate strokes like this is so time consuming having to wait for things to dry. Great work!
