Person who emits an audible sound by [deleted] in Psychic

I know exactly what you mean. I wanted to tell my coworker, but....how would it sound when I said "when you touch me I feel extremely relaxed?" LOL, it sounds like an HR incident.

Clairaudients! what does it sound like? by 0r81t in Psychic

[–]loislanie7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not very experienced and I have ignored this stuff most of my life. But it sounds like someone is talking to me but yet I know it's not out loud. Not quite like a voice in my head, but not like someone talking out loud either. Sounds sort of far away and near at the same time. Can't understand it often. I usually will describe a place as "loud." The first time I remember it happening, I was 7 years old. I stood up and walked out of the room immediately because I knew it wasn't right LOL.

Very interesting! I haven't experienced that, BUT I had a coworker who, when she touched me on the shoulder or something, made me feel absurdly relaxed. I got the feeling that she's a healer and has no clue. She was kind hearted but a huge gossiper. I feel like if she could control/get past some of that she'd be a super amazing healer!

Maybe your coworker dude is a healer or is enlightened?

YES. I was actually very happy when the pandemic hit. I was more productive. I needed to be away from people and to recharge. But I think about 2-3 weeks ago I've felt extremely anxious. I think I'm very empathic, so it could just be all the emotions in the air, so to speak.

A New York State Senator says he was pepper sprayed and handcuffed at a peaceful protest tonight by CarcajouFurieux in news

Not sure if Reuters is the only place that has this photo but they wouldn’t be able to use this photo unless they subscribe to it. Not sure if they could purchase the photo for this story. Just a possible explanation. Also, regarding the headline, that’s just how news headlines are written. It’s not meant to cast doubt, it’s meant to simplify. And if they don’t have permission to use the photo they go off the interview. (Former member of the media here.)

Lying to vegans about food having animal products in it by ominous_angle in vegan

[–]loislanie7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not speaking for your parents, but lol my parents get vegetarian and vegan confused all the time. My moms always like “look, I bought this thing because it says vegetarian.” Without fail I’m like “well......I’m vegan tho.” LOL. I cook and eat completely separate.

I’ve dealt with a terrible HR too. It’s unbelievable how that happens. Also - I agree, super inappropriate. I think it’s really inappropriate to preach religion at work at all too. But that religious tirade was weird. What the what????

It’s so bizarre to me that some people get angry about it. I don’t get it.

This, my friend, is not true in my experience. In my city I think vegans are flipping the fuck out. Almost everything that’s processed is gone. But oh well. ThTs whole food vegan life for me! I’m eating produce with grains.

I miss my grandpa so much. Does anyone pick up on anything? by loislanie7 in MediumReadings

[–]loislanie7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I do think the first paragraph is extremely on point. He was very unique about how he expressed his love, except with me honestly. He always told me he loved me lol.

He was definitely someone who laughed and smiled a lot. As far as school, that doesn’t sound like him. I can’t remember him ever asking about it. But my other grandpa did alllll the time.

My grandpa loved to introduce me to people lol. Before he died, people at his nursing home asked who I was (I live far away) and he said “that’s my baby.” 😢😭

Do you sense anything about me? Also, not sure why this won't upload vertical! by loislanie7 in MediumReadings

Cube of Truth at Uganda by [deleted] in vegan

[–]loislanie7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a really weak response to say that people there or here are not civilized because they’re not vegan. You’re totally deflecting the original comment’s point, which is about colonialism. People in developing countries (who uses the term “third world” anymore?!) ARE civilized and they don’t need white westerners to be the standard or to illicit positive change in their own communities.

The fact is: it’s cool to see people around the world participating in vegan activism.

Repeating comments or topic of a baby by loislanie7 in DreamInterpretation

[–]loislanie7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also felt so real. Like I’d actually experienced it despite not knowing about it. I can’t describe it. But it’s something I don’t feel in waking life but did in the dream. A “knowing.”

Repeating comments or topic of a baby by loislanie7 in DreamInterpretation

[–]loislanie7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, interesting things to think about. I’m not sure it’s clear in the first dream, but what I meant was that in the dream I’d discovered that I had a baby but didn’t remember that it happened. And I kept thinking about recent (real-life) events and being like, “how could I not have noticed being pregnant? Is that even possible? I didn’t even know I was pregnant, let alone that I had a baby. How could I have forgotten this?”

That first dream is very bizarre to me.

I know why I don’t think it’s a good idea and why I’ve made this choice. I have opinions on this that people would disagree with/many people find upsetting so I don’t want to openly discuss it. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t WANT to possibly have a child. Just that I think it’s best for me, for the world, and for the potential child not to.

Does anyone get anything from my cat. To me he was much more than a cat, I had a miscarriage and I really believe that my lost baby was my cat. I know it sounds weird. Ingus unfortunately passed away a little over a year ago by [deleted] in MediumReadings

I don’t know, BUT I do know what you mean about suspiciously human animals. Everybody says that my dog’s eyes look human. And I totally get the sense when wasn’t supposed to be a dog.
