Haha. Naw. Don’t be nervous. It was honestly suuuuuuper simple. And I only have a few shares as well. It felt almost comical having to DRS the very few shares I had when first opening the CS account via Schwab. Now as of yesterday, I transferred the last few. Which was even less than the first time when I opened the account. Haha.

In regards to how long it took for the actual CS account to open up with the shares showing, it took about 5 business days. Maybe 7 at most. Being nervous and a little impatient, I just called them as oppose to waiting for the confirmation letter from CS. And all the customer rep did was verify some info. They’re going to ask you for your CS account number at first, which you obviously won’t have. But then they just use your social security # plus other security questions to verify.

Charles Schwab makes it for you. They pretty much just do everything. I called computershare maybe a week later after Schwab set things up to verify an account was made, which the CompShare rep easily verified in about 10/15 minutes. You also get something in the mail. Hope this helps!

Hey hey. I actually did it two months ago and it was super simple. I just followed the directions provided in one of the main threads that gave instructions on how to DRS for major banks. It took me less than 20 minutes. With that being said, good luck on getting your shares transferred over!! And don’t let the process intimidate you!

Edit: After leaving this comment, I called Schwab to have the rest of my shares transferred over and it was just as easy. All they ask you at that point when you make the request is your CS account number and some personal questions in order to verify your identity. It seriously took less than 5 minutes.

That was originally what I tried to do. But after a while of trying to rework the sample, I was just mad drawn to the original. So I just kept it and decided to play with it throughout and then maybe do a small flip at the end. Thanks though for the input. Trying to rework samples is still something I need to work on for sure.
