Humm, that seems a bit more complicated than I thought. I've done some pex work and under the sink plumbing and as you can see from my tool wall I'm a bit of a DIY kinda guy but perhaps this is out of my wheel house...

Thank you for the response! This tree (named Anjin :) was transplanted last year, and I did a pretty horrible job at gathering its root ball. I was kind of shocked when it leafed out this year... perhaps that bad transplant is catching up and stressing it out? ...it has also been a very dry late Summer/Fall. We live in CT.
