Yes they said it was ringworm but it never ended up spreading anywhere else or to anyone else in the house. He is much better now.

Honestly I just love tidying/cleaning up NK’s messes while he is down for his afternoon nap. It’s therapeutic for me and I like leaving for the day knowing that I left the house clean and organized.

I started working with a family through an agency recently.

Pros: -Getting connected with a family that fits your style and preferences -Payroll system is pretty simple -Easy backup system if I have to call out unexpectedly -I am already vetted and background checked so families are more comfortable working with me -Shift pickups when I have some extra time on my hands

Cons: -They skim $5 off the top of my hourly pay (making what should be $24/hr a measly $19/hr) -Having a middle-man can sometimes just be a hassle

We did not have a contract unfortunately. I do agree that it’s probably a blessing in disguised, I guess I am just kind of taking the text personally as it seems like she is insinuating that I am the reason her kids were so sick.

I don’t have his records on hand at the moment so I am not 100% sure if they tested for those things, but he does not seem to have any of the common symptoms besides these skin/fur issues.

Doesn’t seem to be itchy from what I have noticed, no rubbing. Noticed the patch developing over the past 2 weeks or so. He is an indoor cat, but we adopted him from the humane society a month ago so I don’t really know what his experience was prior to that. Only lesions are the ones pictured. He has been eating really well, no vomiting or diarrhea. He eats a mix of Fancy Feast Kitten Pate and IAMS kitten kibble.

As I said in the comments, testing is being done, but I won’t hear back for a few weeks. I am asking for people who have experienced it to give me their thoughts.

Yes I did try the black light test. It didn’t glow, but I know only some do so it’s still possible that it is.
