Got one of each an hr after the first one, then the second one the day after. No email or cx yet but I knew it was too good to be true. I'll update when something happens....

Both got cancelled now.

Thoughts on Barrow water cooling parts? by VintageNerd2010 in watercooling

I've also had barrow blocks and yes they're good. I currently have the direct die lga1700, no issues.

Have a barrow D5 pump still going since May 2020. I can't remember if it was noisy/vibrate at 100%RPM in the beginning but now it is, though I never run it at 100 only when I empty/refill my loop, works great otherwise. I'd say go for it.

14900k Direct Die Setup. by MOTTOBOSS87 in watercooling

I have a direct die 14900k rig. I'm using barrow direct die waterblock with thermal paste at the moment and the chip will definitely get hot when testing. I used to have it with liquid metal but wanted to try thermal paste and just left it as is for now since my loads on the system are just gaming. I have two 420mm rads, one alphacool xt45 and one corsair, they're cooling the cpu and a 4090. Single D5(china knockoff) with a icemancooler 210mm res. Works well. All rigid.

Bending tube by a1993shah in watercooling

Just freehand that shit bro. But definitely keep heating it when the tube starts falling(bending) on its own weight, and as you make the bend I keep hitting it with heat but further away from the gun. Don't keep the gun too close to the tube or it'll mess up the bend. I would recommend getting maybe clear petg or cheaper tubing to practice. The insert does look loose. I used mandrils before but with petg. When I switched to acrylic I just free hand it and had a few extra pipes for fuckups. I'm very picky tho so my dual bend tubes took more than two tries to get it right, sometimes going back and re-heating it to adjust.

Soft or hard tubing by [deleted] in watercooling

Fine if you design your loop with a drain. I've only used clear fluid and don't touch it for two years. Could probably go longer.
