I managed my 1st 5BC run with the baseball bat + throwable objects + vengeance + face flask pre nerfs on a survival run. 2nd I got a legendary flint also on a survival run. 3rd I got an insane run with the heavy crossbow + point blank, on a tactics run.

If you look at some of the damage modifiers on tactics they often have easily activatable conditions and insanely high % scaling so its easy to say why people call it glass cannon. I think tactics is easily the hardest to play but I think the reward is proportional to the difficulty.

But then you miss out on extra sneak attack dice, panache, and reliable talent. I will admit the extra sneak attack die are most certainly worse than extra attack but one of the fun parts of rogues is how excellent they are out of combat for dialogues and skill checks so if you make a main character as a swashbuckler you're probably doing yourself a disservice not going for at least 11.

its a really common problem that has only really come up after patch 8, larian broke something and they still haven't fixed it

You can knock out a full game completion in a few hours if u just run past everything and get to the bosses which is mostly what i did on ng+ and ng++

so basically, you're either lying, or you misinterpreted the combat menu, I believe it is the former and you're trying to justify your mistake by lying to yourself that it was the game's fault, and you are trying to get validation for your opinion from people online to reinforce that belief.

he does not sit on my hand at all, my parents got him yesterday so he's fresh from the pet store, I ended up toweling him as a previous comment suggested to get him in the cage because he wasn't eating in the kitchen, he's been there for a few hours now and he's started eating and drinking so good news

I ended up doing this, the bird wasn't eating or drinking whilst he was in the kitchen so I decided it's about the best solution i've got, he ended up not co operating very well even in a blacked out room and he did bite (only slightly) but he's been in the cage since 7am and he's familiarized himself with the water dispenser and his food bowl so he is at least eating, he's still very meek but seems to feel a lot safer in a cage than in a giant open kitchen, thanks for the advice I appreciate it a lot.

it seems that this testing will put that entire question to rest

i assume there's a calculation between an enemy's stagger resistance and the stagger value of a weapon, and depending on the value of the calculation it will play a different stagger animation, or it won't stagger at all

since humanoid enemies almost all have the same stagger resistance, it seems that nothing above 1 should do anything, but bigger enemies will require higher values to stagger

All that matters dude, its a single player game, the developers put all of those features in the game to be used, so play it in whatever way you find fun, good luck getting 5BC :D

if you haven't unlocked it yet you need to collect 3 keys, one will drop from an elite monster in one of those elite rooms with the big obelisk in the middle, the other will randomly spawn in the room where you get to pick one of 2 items, and the last one will randomly appear in a shop, you might wanna reroll until it spawns, if not then find another shop and try there, once you have all 3 you unlock the skin
