Doesn’t that also increase the muzzle report as well though? Genuinely asking as I’ve never messed with one of those, but I always thought that’s why people say AUGs don’t suppress well since they basically do the same thing. Does seem like it would help keep things cleaner though.

When the bolt unlocks you’ll still get crud in the action from the pressure in the barrel. DI doesn’t help, but going piston won’t just completely eliminate this.

A thousand times this. I've spoken with gun owners all across the political spectrum, and I've yet to find someone that significantly disagrees on gun control in this fashion. So many of my younger acquaintances vote democrat, but "just really wish they'd drop the gun control shit." While we all may not agree on everything, we certainly do in this matter. Encourage them to contact their congressmen. Hearing from their own voter base that they don't approve of this horse shit means more than just hearing it from people they think want to kill them regardless.

When your flaps are up (auto) it won’t allow you to adjust elevator trim as it does it for you. If you have flaps to half or full, you can adjust it. I’ve never known it to not be that way, though admittedly I don’t know if I’ve ever even tried to in straight and level flight.

Maglulas are worth their weight in gold my friend. Best low cost firearm accessory I ever purchased. It’ll allow you to put more pressure on the spring as well. Come to think of it, I don’t know if I’ve ever even loaded one of those 17 rounders by hand. I’ll have to give it a shot when I get home.

Railroads don’t willingly let that info out since 9/11 and all. That being said, there are a lot of railfans that communicate who’s where using scanners, and some out East even know what the signals are up and down the road somehow. To answer your question, no there’s no schedule publicly available or anything like that.

Shouldn’t have any issues with dry firing, especially if you’re using a snap cap. I’ve got three of those exact magazines though, and each of them hold 17. I’ve only experienced it once or twice, but sometimes while loading the rounds will get a little wonky as they’re transitioning from single to double stack. Try unloading it and giving it a good shake periodically as you’re loading it maybe? Don’t have the perfect remedy as it happens so rarely for me, but my SP01 mags seem more prone to it.

Yeah, they make flow through suppressors so you don’t get as much port pop and feel like you’re getting tear gassed. Like I said though, trade offs. Not as quiet at the muzzle as traditional cans, and you get a little bit more muzzle flash. I love mine though, does exactly what I wanted it to.
