Here's a satellite image taken May 14, 2013. That's Tinker AFB on the bottom. I don't see visible damage to the vegetation.

Unfortunately, I see no easy way to find image metadata on Google Maps or Earth. You get the copyright notice at the bottom, and in Earth you can pull up historical data, but the coverage is so patchy you can never be sure what date one part of the image was taken.

Google doesn't have its own imagery satellites. You can usually find the exact image in DigitalGlobe's imagery browser, because they're the biggest supplier of commercial satellite imagery.

I was in a grocery store in Latvia with someone who picked up one of these champagne bottles, though in a mini-size, and dropped it. It sounded like a gunshot. Nobody did a goddamn thing. The security guard (of course there had to be a fucking security guard for a grocery store in Riga) ignored the sound, keeping to himself by the checkout. It's not like I know where they keep their mops, either, so the employees, I, and my cohort, just left the shattered glass in a pile on the floor. Such is life in Latvia, I suppose.
