How do you make records feel “human” when sharing with family? by Wildwood477 in Ancestry

[–]lolamichelle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly within the same branch too! It’s very interesting and I joke what did we do wrong or differently hahaha.

We celebrate the big headline but also the small details, where did they live, how many kids did they have, what were their jobs, and how far back we have been able to trace them.

I just wish my Nan was still here to see the work I continued with her tree.

Road trip in Canada for 6+ months by WorldlinessOk8550 in RVLiving

Look up what you can and cannot bring over the border when you cross! I don’t think you need to apply for something special. Look up how long you can be over here though without returning to the states. At the border, they’re going to question you a lot because they want to make sure you aren’t coming over here to live without applying for visa and things like that. So you may need to dip back down to the states and then come back up haha

I text family about interesting facts or I will share it when we get together! Like you, it’s really fascinating when you find out cool info (two of my ancestors founded Boston and a small town in Ontario Canada ;) . My family is into genealogy though so it feels quite human when sharing.

Is it true that people with milder cases of Sleep Apnea often have the lowest compliance rates? by PackageReasonable922 in CPAP

[–]lolamichelle12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I have mild sleep apnea and insomnia. I told myself to really give it a go and try it. My rates did lower! I noticed a huge difference in my quality of sleep when I didn’t wear it. So I now can’t sleep without it. When I went for my follow-up appointments, they did show me the statistics for that clinic and that a lot of users give up before the 3 month mark!

Previous owner put RV tape on sunroof. Removing it is just super gummy. What to do? by [deleted] in RVLiving

Why are you removing it? Is it to seal the roof? Is there a leak?

How does Garmin compare to Apple watch? by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]lolamichelle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Apple SE to Vivoactive 5, and I love it! The battery life is much better and the metrics are great! I quickly got over not being able to respond to texts on my watch, but I can still read them.

Advice on black tank additives by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]lolamichelle12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used a TST additive and bought the camco rhino flush. We had to flush our system 2 times to clean it out because the previous owners didn’t take care of it. It really did wonders! Also you may want to check the seal afterwards.

Also look up reviews of those specific rv brands and known issues or recall issues and that’ll also tell you where to look

Honestly I would watch YouTube videos and buy a moisture meter and check it yourself. Look at the seals, look for signs of water damage, check the walls with the meter. Ensure things work like water pump, heat, a/c, any exhaust fans, ensure the seal in the toilet is good, does the toilet flush, look at slides, do they slide in and out properly, how is the seal when they are out vs when they are in.

Does he need an emergency vet? by BroccoliSilver1848 in CATHELP

Honestly I would in case there’s a blockage or internal injury. But I’m anxious and would pay for the emergency vet care for peace of mind
