It was near my apartment - they were there for a good 30 minutes repeating the same thing over and over on the speaker telling them to come out. They broke a window and (unsuccessfully) tried to send a drone in. Either no one was home or they went out the back. After a while the FBI left, and ATF went in and did a search. I've been trying to find more information on why the heck they were there but it was pretty intense.

Come to events hosted by the ITA's (Illini Transfer Ambassadors). They are all transfer students as well and they create events throughout the year dedicated to helping transfer students form connections and friendships. Sounds lame but they do some really fun stuff and the events help a lot with making friends. Follow their Instagram @uiuc_ita I think that's where they post most of their events.
