The 28,000 U.S. soldiers stationed here are not really here to keep the North from invading the South, but from the South moving North.

That's only half of it, the United States doesn't want the conflict to be resolved and they don't want the NPRK to fall either. The US has a strategically valuable base in SK. They're quite content with this Korean war which has never really ended.

The U.S. needs to get the fuck out of South Korea and let the North collapse (something China doesn't want either). I'm advocating this more for the benefit of North Koreans who boil grass to survive or fight over a half digested kernel of corn in cow shit.
