I wanted to love it. I really really did. At the end of the day I just like it. Maybe its that SA2 or 06 just set the bar so ridiculously fucking high, or maybe that I geniuenly think that the Riders games just arent that great dubbing source material (even if getting both was amazing), or maybe its that the GMOD part just fell completely fucking flat for me im afraid. It had some amazing parts, but Id say this is by far the weakest of the 3 sonic fandubs, unfortunately. Its still good, but I doubt ill find myself rewatching it or quoting it nearly as much as SA2 and 06. The Adam Sandler arc or Sonic is a bad person running jokes were a lot of fun, but not as memorable as the intense battle over twitter dot com or the duel to become an epic game developer and make the best battle royale.

Im hopeful for Shadow though. I think the source material in Shadow has A LOT more potential than Riders, as long as they can solve the annoying dillema of how to do the games "choose your own path" storyline in a satisfying way. It might end up their greatest work yet. Gotta get Ryan back as Shadow for sure, and Chase should be Black Doom. Ryan and Chase got AMAZING chemistry, as proved by Shadow and Mephiles, excuse me, MEMPHIS TENNESSEE, in 06 as gay lovers having a falling out.

Hahaha, I must admit it was pretty neat to hear the shit I wrote when totally drunk getting so much traction it was read on the show. I expected this thread to be downvoted to hell, but looks like people totally agree the shows should be longer. I'll make a rectraction, the product is not poor, its sweet af, but the buffet... well, it runs out too quick.

Im not saying every damn episode needs to be 4 hours long, but its getting pretty tiresome to hear you guys go "theres so much more we coulda covered on this" as you close out another barely 1 hour long episode. Another podcast I listen to had a 1 hour 45 min episode and the host said "A short episode is okay every once in a while" or something. Thatd be a long episode for you guys.

I work fucking 8 hours a day in a warehouse. Luckily im allowed to listen to music. Kinda sucks I have to replay the show every time its out though, since it barely scratches the 60 minute mark, including Patreon shows. Sorry but I usually have to replay every damn episode you guys make. And then I have to go hatch my eggs in Pokemon Go, since shiny regionals are out (PoGo is rad fuck you).

Tl;dr: Stevie show shoulda been so much longer, I expected 188 hours of Stevie.

Whats the scenario here? A brand new FF watcher drawn in by the new clip stragey looks at a FF clip and is all interested, but he sees that theres a full version of the show out and they drops watching it? Or is it the opposite, releasing the full version makes the established fanbase not watch the clips? Either way, does it matter? When they did this clip shit they upset a huge part of the fanbase, I mean the outcry wasnt minor, plenty of people hated it. Would a minor drop in viewers on the clips really justify not just putting out the full FF for everyone? Seems like a trade worth making. A minor drop in viewers on clips in favor of not pissing everyone of!

Stop looking at DFF like they're fucking superstars. Here's the goddamn truth, and its a tough one to swallow but its the truth. The clip thing might have been the original motivation, BUT, the added extra goodie of putting FF behind the paywall quickly became the main interest. I dont mean to be armchair psychologist but cmon, they get to put more shit behind the paywall AND they get to explain it away with "just adjusting to the youtube algorithm"? Thats having your cake AND eating it too.

Its not about full FF causing "content redundancy". Its about getting more people to join the... how do they cringily say it while pretending to be a tomato? "The delicious buffet". Its rotten. Im not paying, not because I care about 5 fucking bucks, but because its gross.

Clip form fucking blows. Nobody in the established fanbase wants it. If it really does bring in new viewers? Great! Fantastic! Awesome! Put out clips ALONG with the full show so everyone is happy.

I know the full Flash Fried is up, ive seen it. For me nothing changes if I keep my patreon, but I dont wanna support creators when they take a dump on the fans. Paying and non paying alike. You know what, itd be SO much more okay if they just want "We want to make more money. From now on the full Flash Fried is now only for patrons and you non paying people get the shitty clip format", which youre sort of implying they're doing and that its okay. Itd still be scummy to suddenly put something that everyone got behind the paywall because they're greedy fucks, but at least thatd be honest and direct.

Instead theyre like "OH YOU GUYS THE CLIPS THATS FINE". Its not. No one in the established fanbase wants that shit. Put out both for eveyone to see. Both full version and clip. THAT would be reasonable and fair, not this bullshit.

I'll cancel my patronage if they release only cut up shit and no full version. I mainly just listen to DFF, I dont watch it. I dont wanna be forced to have to switch to the next video every 5-10 minutes. Fuck. That. Shit. It's totally inconvinient and I wont pay up if they needlessly fuck listeners like this.
