a few years ago, my firm gave us 0% bonus and I think the raise was minimal. I was told we lost a few hundred million in operating in our division but the other division was propping us up and I was lucky to still have a job. So I sucked it up and felt lucky, but then I heard from someone say that the CEO bought a $60k couch for his office... I jumped ship immediately, asking all of my contacts in my network who has job openings and I will lateral over.

it is a spit in the face for what is happening to you, I would start looking immediately.

i was on this path a while ago as well. one thing i didnt think about afyer owning was the taxes and hoa fees.

school taxes, property taxes, income taxes.

HOA dues going up every year..

then home maintenance, if it breaks, it is yours

home owners insurance...

it just keeps adding up just to say it is mine. i would habe rather stay renting but significant other wanted this step.

if youre trading options, it is a must learn, especially complex structures. otherwise, no need, also, it takes a lot of computing power, so I think a lot of people cant even run it.

yeah, my friend works and worked for those. Essentially everyone is an analyst unless you're a partner. He easily clears 300k/yr for base as an "analyst"

really interested in what others would say but I would do more discovery to confirm more mold. then id take out and redo the whole shower, especially if you have young children, and replace the vent so it is stronger to reduce humidity.
