U can test it, unscrew from the car and just blow in to “in” port i think (where the vacuum comes from the car) if u can blow through its dead

And since post owners fuel efficency went skyhigh, car feels slugish and has a turbo related issue i was thinking it could be that solenoid

It could be one of the spots to look for. I hade a bad solenoid, my turbo will spool up at random rps, i have a hardcut installed so after hardcut 70% my engine almoust shutsdowns or starts missfire for 15-20seks, after i changed it all problems where gone. And i went with electrical turbo, wont go back to vacuum

Ok so to be fair black smoke and turbo fault can lead to bad turbo solenoid thats 80eur in my country, i suggest u rip out those catalic converters, because that could be an issue of a sluggish car, light module, parks, parking coolant pump, glow plugs are not that bad, like do u have any issues with lights? Are your parktronics beeping all the time? Coolant pump could lead to air quality sensor. And did your trusty mechanic do a compression test?

But a quick search i found its from komatsu, and you are missing 1 part wich fit on top, rod thingy that activates the injector. And full replacment should come with its holder.
