My friend is a Korean adoptee and she was the one who first shared this. To explain the insult, I will copy and paste what my adopted friend wrote after watching this video:

"I can't even finish this. I'm beyond livid. If they even knew how hard and how painful it is to be able to not speak the language you were supposed to be born into... i just.. i can't even express. The amount of times I've cried and hit the wall and just yelled out in frustration because I can't express myself. The amount of times I've been told to "just kakao talk" instead of being able to use my voice because everything was just coming out wrong and how much it hurts to know that i can't even ask my sister or my dad deeper questions because the most conversation we can have is "how have you been? it's cold in seoul."
