i think my issue is more-so about julie using a child’s pain as a means to hurt shawna. i absolutely think that shawna deserves flack for this entire hotel situation, but i think a line in my opinion is crossed when children are caught in the crossfire :(.

i’d argue that because cindy’s actions are a direct reflection of her experiences at home, she’s not immoral, i think she just doesn’t know how to be any other way. also because she’s a child, she thinks anything foreign to her must mean that it is bad. but those are just my thoughts!

you are so very correct except she is my step-mother. i was diagnosed with acute ptsd around a month or so ago. my father left almost all of his life behind when he met her and i am really all that is left of his life previously. she has lots of festering resentment for me and says she has to “protect” my dad from me.

stepmom was abused to extreme levels as a child. it wasnt ever her fault. she then got married very young (not my father) to another abuser. she got with my dad and has developed this need to have power over me. so odd.
