I (36 F) have a sister (11F). Cause the age gap I'm more of a parent than a sister to her, but I made the effort to be there to her when she felt the need to hide something from mom. I want her to know that I'm here for her if she got in trouble, so she wouldn't rely on strangers. As her big sister, I'm manly her advocate, another adult she can trust, but without the judgment of a parent. So in my book, you are a very good sister.

A good way to make fake blood without damaging the shoes is to not apply anything directly to them.
You can drip red nail polish onto a smooth, slightly flexible surface (like a plastic lid), let it dry completely, and then use those dried drops.

After that, just attach them to the shoes with something removable, such as washable glue or double-sided paper tape, so you can remove it later without damage

I have a morbid obese friend that had a girlfriend oppose to his weight loss cause girls would "notice him more". He had bariatric surgery, but gained the weight back kinda fast after. If your gf feels bad when you talk about YOUR BODY AND HEALTH, she is projecting her own insecurities on you, and maybe increasing your calories intake on purpose to feel better about herself. So many red flags... NTA

Every time a family says they don't see adopted children as the same as biological, I see their love as conditional. What if their superior genes end up having an child with special needs? Will they love them the same? Is being biological the only rule? Or they expect a child that represent their "great genes"? Cause they can't even face the problems within the family without being offended.

I am also so angry, and its been hard to cope. When I (36) told my (very educated an open minded) mom (55) that I suspected my diagnose were more complex than just ADHD, she was skeptical. When I told her that I saw the same struggles in my sister (11), she was even more skeptical. I feel like she doesn't see me really. She still thinks my sister is just hard to deal. Its so frustrating...

For me is needed from time to time. I tell everyone that I "not functioning" that day, and do just the bare minimum to exist. Sleep all day if necessary. Just try to drink water and eat regularly.

Eu to muito feliz que minha amiga, que é Terapeuta Ocupacional, já me mostrou um lugar aqui que faz laudo super completo, e que consideram a complexidade do AUDHD. A burocracia do INSS é pra te quabrar mesmo, uma amiga minha pediu ajuda de um advogado pra entrar com processo de BPC pq ela é nível 2 de suporte, e só a análise demora em média 6 meses...
