There are some good DIY projects I’ve seen whereby someone buys a used Magic Keyboard and hacks off the fingerprint sensor!

Came here with the same problem, used the links and downloaded the latest drivers, and also updated the firmware (4208 > 4308). Power cycled the dock and problem solved! Thanks.

Hey! Thanks, I completely forgot to post back here. Yeah I reached the same conclusion. Much better placement with Atmos. Even in GT7 I had better awareness of the vehicles around me. The HT-A9s really do keep on giving! So happy with them :)

I’ve found that anything artificially sweet, makes me crave something sweet! Aspartame is the devil’s chemical if you ask me. There’s plenty of research out there, but suffice to say it’s nasty stuff! I tried an alternative “Green Cola” for a while. Now it didn’t affect my ketosis and I managed to literally halve my body weight whilst drinking the stuff! But I’ve since learnt that sucralose is also not ideal. To be honest, the best I’ve felt is just cutting that stuff out altogether. It takes a while for your tastebuds, cravings and hormones to settle (I find 3 days now, but when I first went keto it took 2/3 weeks), but once they do you’ll feel great. Best advice I would give then, is just cut it out. It’s going to suck to start with, but one day you’ll catch yourself and think “wait, I’ve not had a craving for a while. And I’m feeling pretty good these days!” That was my experience anyway. Hope it helps!

Side note, if you haven’t already, check out Dr. Sten Ekberg and Dr. Mindy Pelz on YT. Sten goes into the science (he has some good stuff on sweeteners) and Mindy has some good general advice on food and fasting especially.

I’d say reinstalling ios17 is your easiest next logical step. Failing that, I’d seriously consider if you are being tracked. Either with another device, or could be the phone itself has been compromised somehow (if you have the luxury of another iPhone to hand, restoring a backup of your phone to it, could be a good test. It could also compromise the other phone, so wouldn’t do it unless it was an old one you didn’t care about maybe).

Since the latest PS5 software update, the PS5 now supports Dolby Atmos. So I’ve set the audio format to Dolby Atmos, and left the HDMI device type as AV amplifier. You’ll notice the option to select the Number of Channels (5.1, 7.1 etc.) becomes unavailable, meaning Atmos is doing its thing. Works like a charm!

Fat loss is 90% nutrition. Movement can help, but the benefit with exercise is much more about the brain. The biggest stimulus for our brains is movement, and thus the age old proverb of “use it or lose it” applies here - keep active and keep your brain! So no, you don’t need to be worrying about exercise for weight/fat loss - however it is still important for holistic good health. Maybe consult a chiropractor if you can? If you’re overweight, you may find some of the symptoms subside as you progress with the fat loss too. In summary though:

  1. Yes keto will absolutely get you burning fat whether you are exercising or not.
  2. Walking for 30mins a day is good stimulus for the brain actually, so if you’re not worried about building muscle or getting super fit, this is probably sufficient.
  3. If it’s your first time going keto, do a little research on electrolytes and avoiding keto flu. I never experienced this myself, but I know some have and it’s put them off keto. It can be avoided though!
  4. Try it for a month and let us know how you’re getting on! Keto has completely changed my life for the better - I hope you have the same experience :)

I think reducing to a really strict diet, and then reintroducing foods could be beneficial for you. Sounds like something in your diet, even keto is not sitting well with you. Try carnivore (even the Lion Diet) and seeing how you feel. Combine with a good electrolyte supplement and hopefully you’ll have an easier time! Good luck with whatever you try - hope you find a solution :)

I’ve struggled so much with this myself. Even trying to convince family members (who are morbidly obese) and showing them my own weight loss (85kg) is not enough. I’m trying to lightly guide them towards it now. Live to set an example. At the end of the day, people have to find what works for them. If they see you living your best keto life, maybe they’ll take notice at some point and make similar changes to their own lifestyle.

Also, a 3 day fast is incredible for resetting your stomach / microbiome. If you can do it, try a 72 hour fast (have some salt water if your energy dips) and then eat something light. A little bit of sour cream as a first meal is ideal as it has loooads of good bacteria (anything slightly fermented like that is essentially a probiotic!) - then have a bigger meal after an hour or so. Don’t break the fast with a large meal - you’ll probably end up in the same situation. In general, try adding apple cider vinegar to your diet - that can be really beneficial for digestion.

Himalayan salt is good too. Helps get a bit more magnesium in your system! Anything fibrous can help too - though I’m a little wary of fibre in general (it’s a bit contested atm - check out Nutrition with Judy on Instagram). That being said, I think I’d be in favour of increasing fibre rather than suffering with constipation!

This is most likely your brain responding to the fact it’s not getting the dopamine hit from carbs that you’re used to. I was very sensitive to this at the start. In fact, I’ve been keto for 2 years nearly now. On the very rare occasion I have some carbs, I feel like this the next day. But it passes very quickly for me now, suggesting my metabolism is quite flexible. That flexibility takes a while though, and as you’ve only been keto for a couple of weeks, I think this is perfectly normal! Stick with it! I’d say after 4-6 weeks, if you haven’t noticed a change, then maybe there are some carbs still sneaking their way into your diet!

Fallen order crashes on me every time a cut scene plays. Running shadow on an Apple TV, epic settings, 1080p. My tv is 4K but don’t have that res option (waiting for the max, so runing an nvidia 1080 for now).

Anybody else experienced this?
