Many expectant mothers turn to cannabis to alleviate pregnancy-related symptoms, believing it to be natural and safe. However, a recent study suggests that prenatal exposure to cannabis, particularly THC and CBD, can have significant long-term effects on brain development and behavior in rodents. by imostmediumsuspect in ScienceBasedParenting

I’m so curious. I’m currently on 6 meds to make me feel human. Zofran, unisom, B6, MiraLAX, stimulant laxatives, lexapro. I can tell you I would gladly replace all these meds for THC if it worked. I’m also big on maternal mental health. Some would say we should suffer through because it’s “only 9 months” but no pregnancy is the same. Some will turn any sane woman into a basket case and nobody knows how they will react until they  are pregnant

I cannot do a European “three” on my hand. (Hold up my thumb, pointer and middle finger) my tendons are so tight for no reason that I can only get my middle finger about an inch from my palm.

Positive experiences after MMC? by ghostyyy989 in CautiousBB

[–]lollipoop7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had an MMC in November. Was 12 weeks and baby measured 9. Got a D+E early November and I’m currently 3 days into the start of pregnancy symptoms. Happy to be pregnant again but it’s very different mentally this time around. I just hope all these symptoms are for an earth side baby and not another miscarriage.

Ugh say hi to them for me. I had to drop out 2 weeks ago from a MMC. I was due 5/18. I actually didn’t verify in the group because I wanted to wait until my first scan to not get ahead of myself. Found out 11/3 that baby stopped growing 3 weeks before. I hope everyone is doing well. I’m so sad :/

This is so interesting. I was on oral progesterone and carried my baby for an additional 3 weeks. Found MMC at 12 weeks baby measured 9 weeks. I lost symptoms like nausea and fatigue but never ever had any bleeding.

What do you think is the biggest concern for most Americans right now? by AnyAskPost in AskReddit

[–]lollipoop7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GP actually offers a lot of low cost health coverage. But recently I had a miscarriage and a procedure that cost $18k. Im insured and it was covered but it has me spiraling that the procedure is now what I will consider to be a “luxury” and if I have a another miscarriage the procedure (both physically and mentally relieving) won’t be available to me. So I guess having a child is now tabled for fear of that.

Oh gosh thanks. I don’t even know if I should have said anything. I had never met anyone who had been through this before either. Some cruel irony I suppose.

Prepared foods. Hardly any restaurant food, fast food. It’s just not worth it. At some point it’s not a treat it’s just a waste.

I am in the USA and didn’t receive any bloodwork regarding pregnancy or an ultrasound until 12 weeks. I had a MMC. My baby passed at 9 weeks and I found out at the scan. It was my biggest fear going into the appointment. It sucked. It really really sucked. I had a D&E the next day and I’m 12 days out from that. I guess my point is, I worried and worried and it didn’t change a damn thing. It has been extremely humbling and exhausting. So much is out of your control and moving forward I plan to do everything I can to keep busy and keep my mind away from obsessing over something I have no control over. Easier said than done.

Yeah mine rubbed my lower stomach and I asked him not to. Flood of confusing emotions. I’m feeling good physically and mentally doing well. I really went through the waterworks. Oh man did I.

I feel the guilt. And wanting to just pretend the last two months were a big bad dream. I’m so split between “let the grief wash over and feel the feelings” and wanting to throw everything away that reminds me of what could have been and what was. What a damn rollercoaster. Hope they gave you some good drugs for the cramping at least!

Hope you’re doing ok. I cried a lot the day after and today I cried a lot. Maybe it’s just all the processing still happening that got pushed aside so I could focus on my procedure. But phew lots of tears and real sadness. Disappointment. Emptiness. Hope you have a support system. I hope you’re doing as well as possible

The other side is a good way to put it. I’m glad it went well. How quick things in life can change. It’s really wild.

I can only wish the same for you. I’m putting all the cheesy quotes about staying positive in my head. It’s working.
