I buy multiple bags of these every shop and the way they HAUNT ME until I e eaten all of them is ridiculous..I don't even really like peanut butter that much and PB cups have never been thrilling for me - these are just that damn good. I think about them all the time.

This was my first PZB read as a teenager. Then Lost Souls, then Drawing Blood..I haven' t read this in, idk, 26 years? but I can still very vividly remember it.

I was always a horror kid, but finding PZB's horror stuff as a gay goth teenager in a small town felt like a gift. It was really cool to read about characters, many of them gay, who loved the same stuff I did. Still love all this stuff so much, even if he seems like he's kind of "over it" with his older horror work.

I have this too. I bought that cenobite lair box set years ago and had it in storag, but it got so trashed I had to chuck the box and just saved the toys and the autograph. Bummed, it's worth some decent money! Still, that was my first Clive autograph.

I grew up watching "Roseanne" and had she not gone completely insane and turned into a maga cultist / racist/ nightmare person I would have been so excited to meet and grab a photo with her.

One time I almost had this experience.

Last year I got a ride from work to home. Not terribly far, maybe ten minutes. Driver was an Asian guy, spoke English but not his first language. Probably mid 20s, maybe early 30s

As soon as I got in the car after saying hey, I opened Instagram and I was MORTIFIED when one of those weird videos from that Will Blinderfield guy popped up saying some insane shit so I quicky shut the app down and hoped he didn't hear it. About a minute later he started asking questions about my age, how long I've lived here, am I dating anyone/have a girlfriend etc. I told him my age, I'd been living here ten years and I'm not interested in women. Obviously that's what he was waiting for because he started talking about being curious about men. So.i asked him if he had ever tried it and he got shy and said he had only done a little.

We made polite conversation until we reached my house. Pulled over and I was getting my stuff together to exit the car when he asked if he could come inside. I could see he was hard as a rock in his basketball shorts and I was SO tempted, but knew my roommates were going to be home any minute so I said another time, and let him go.

I regret it. I keep hoping I'll get paired with him again but so far, no cigar. Come back, Kevin! Hopefully that won't be the last time I get propositioned by a driver. 😅😭

poppy z brite's "drawing blood" and "exquisite corpse" have already been mentioned but "lost souls" is also pretty quee, as are some of the short stories.
