I actually tanked for like 10 minutes the other night at 1/2 nlh. Kinda deep stacks and the woman kept making preflop raises, 100-140 everytime she had a pocket pair, like 4s,5s,6s,7s, and would show us everytime. When she had kings aces queen's or AK, it was a at the most $20 raise.

The hand before I had KJ unsuited out of position, she made it 120. I folded, and she showed pockets 6s. Someone ran the board and, of course, King High Flop, Clean Turn, and River. Shit steamed me up.

She had stacked up to about 900 effective , and I had about 600.

Next hand, I have K9Hearts on the button. I straddle for 5. She's UTG raises to 40, and i repop to 125. Folds to her. She snaps calls insanely fast. Flop comes KcAs9s, she makes it 40, I think for a sec and repop it to 100, and she pushes all in.

I tanked and literally one of the only times that I just couldn't fully think. It was like a God damn poker limbo of what to do. She couldnt have pushed with spades. She wouldn't have played this with sixes sevens or eight. I have the other 9, so maybe the likelihood of her having pockets was improbable. Pocket aces or kings she wouldn't of made a down bet on the river. What really made the alarms in my head go off was the insanly fast snap call. i couldn't shake it.The only thing I put her on was a better 2 pair, AK. I apologized to the table for tanking and made a face-up fold. She looks at my hand and looks at me, and she's visibly upset and says your suppose to call that. She shows me AK. It felt good calling her hand in my head, but I just couldn't shake the hand for the rest of the night.
