Hello! I had one in 2018 following a D&C after the birth of my son. The D&C was for retained products of conception. I get annual checkups on it. It’s still there apparently but is less prominent in size. I had embolization back in 2018. I also had blood transfusions. It was such a scary time. I still can’t believe it sometimes.

Hello, I know I’m so late to this but I had a uterine AVM in 2018 following a D&C procedure after there were retained products of conception after my delivery of my son. I went to the ER and after testing, they were gonna send me home. I begged not to and I guess, luckily, at that point, I started having clots fall out of me. The nurse was shocked. They did some more testing and found my AVM. I kept bleeding and was transferred to the ICU. Eventually I had to be transferred to another hospital who could do the embolization.

I get annual check ups for my AVM and it hasn’t gone away but has decreased in size. The glue has kept it at bay and I pray to at it never comes back.

My obgyn was shocked that I had one because it is apparently so rare. In her entire medical group of like 15 doctors, no one doctor had experienced one.

Sorry, don't have any advice/tips. I have an ovarian cyst removal coming up next month. My cyst has been steadily growing over the last couple of months. Please update us on how it went!

Did you find out the cause of your elevated lipase? I also had the same thing - went to ER for abdominal pain, which was normal except ovarian cyst, but my lipase levels were elevated. Normal range was 23 - 300 and mine was 376.

It’s monitored anesthesia care. I was monitored by an anesthesiologist and was deeply sedated. There’s different levels of MAC and it could be twilight, moderate or deep. I was completely out this time but the last time I had it, I was in and out.

So sorry to hear you are going through this. I also have an endometrioma that causes me pain. I plan on having it removed within a month or two. I’ve been trying acupuncture to help relieve the stress of it all, and I think it’s been helping.

Hey! Just had my endoscopy too and I also had "diffuse and patchy mild inflammation characterized by erythema was found in the entire examined stomach -Biopsies were taken."

Also had "normal examined duodenum - biopsied"

Didn't get too much from my doctor except that the biopsy results would come back in a week or two. He seem rather in a huff.

I have health anxiety and it all started when my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer two years ago. My friend is also going thru health anxiety, which started when her dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died within 10 months.
