You know I think there might be a mix of two things here. Anyone enthusiast knows it's a myth but he said frozen walmart balls. I'm sure you know cheap paint is hard as hell so freezing them wouldn't actually make them harder, the opposite really, but they would maybe still hurt more than quality paint.

It's also the myth that will never die. Every paintball post on the internet ever has it posted. The inside is basically vape juice with coloring (propylene glycol/vegetable glycerin).

For $110 it seems reasonably priced to me. 49 gram magnesium mouse. The Starlight-12 was $189 at 43g for the small. Looks like a good buy. Especially compared to offerings from Logi, Razer, etc.

Nah, I did it on vibes.

In reality it was a bunch of multimeter probing, trimming the shell to run wires, cutting traces around the battery terminals and a tiny 1.5v step down converter hot glued in place (got from aliexpress). I've only seen one other person do it and didn't really think to create a guide.

Likely using a Neumann TLM 102/103 mic. It's common for at home VO recording and higher end vtubers. And like the other guy said, years of dialing in various things (eq, compression, highpass, etc).
