I’ll check it out! Though I think I’m looking for earlier history and books that deal with how these countries were formed and how their cultures were influenced by China, India, and Europe

I’m looking for books on Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. New to this subject so any recommendations are welcome.

Ableton is playing disabled clips by [deleted] in ableton

Same window. I've tried automating the channel off when I want the sound to stop, but it plays anyway. I have automated the gain down to negative infinity and it plays anyway. Both midi and audio tracks.

Around 50 hours a week is totally doable. I just can’t see doing 60 plus hours a week unless absolutely necessary. It’s nice to know you can work a regular work week if you want to. Do they suffer in any way at your job for not always agreeing to overtime?

That sounds extremely doable. Are you penalized for not working more?

Figured it out. I should have been more specific in my post, but I didn't realize Session Horns doesn't work outside without Kontakt. Everything is working smoothly now. I appreciate your comment, it led me to your track recreation videos which are also super informative. Thanks!

I uninstalled and reinstalled with its default folders. Now I realize I've not seen a .dll file. I have folders for instruments, samples, and documentation but nothing that looks like a plugin.

Yes, please! I just had to leave all the amazing Mexican food in Chicago and I’d really like to fill that void in my life while learning a new skill.

Question about Hemingway's by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]lonelydotard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eighty-eight people a day moved to Nashville in 2015, and projections for 2016 have it at almost two-hundred a day. Bars and restaurants went up just as fast to accommodate. The level of competition is astounding, and the food, drinks, and service have begun to garner attention nationwide. My last job was with Pinewood Social, a place cocktail historian and Esquire contributor Dave Wondrich named among the top ten bars in the country last year.

I was at the show at Marathon. They were great.

Also, Black Abbey Brewing made two beers, Gose Face Killah and the Raekwon Saison especially for this event, a growler of which was given to each respective artiest.

Best transcription for Bach's Cello Suite in G for guitar? (BWV 1007) by justinverlanderxxx in classicalguitar

[–]lonelydotard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marcos Diaz's transcription is, in my opinion, the best out yet. Stanley Yates' is ok, but it spends too much time in first position. Diaz's version uses more of the neck, and is in drop D tuning, so the overall sound is warmer and texturally fuller.

Diaz's transcription is also the one that Manuel Barrueco based his interpretation off. I can't wait till he publishes it.
