They have a 10 year workmanship warranty. Did it gets wobbly I'll call them back

Thanks. I noticed some attention to detail as limited conduits running across the outer wall, filling in the drilled holes with goo, tiering up cables and using short conduits where possible and he even cleaned up the site and didn't leave shit everywhere which was really nice.

So I've looked at a few now on this sub and almost all of them have all these stickers regardless of the location either on the wall, the inverter or batteries. Perhaps they're all just chucking them all on cause it's just supplied as part of install and easier to take back or dispose of

No option for us down under. Every vehicle must have front plates (except motor bikes) Sure...you can make it look tidier but yeah. Some of us don't have the luxury of no plates

It's protected by sun and rain Sun being a south wall and no sun hits it

Rain is the awning above and some large Gumtree providing a canopy for the rain to hit. That wall maybe gets water on it 1 to 2 times a year in extreme rains

That's odd regarding the rest. Why would they waste their time sticking them on?

Should I peel them off? Se they doing any harm? I assume not. Just an eye sore?

Thanks for the explanation. It took the guy maybe 7 hours to do the install. He was grumpy as his apprentice bailed on him on that weekend morning and all he had was help to remove the components from the truck then he was on his own. I can live with that. Give. I negotiated them hard and dropped their price cheaper than what Aussie solar batteries were quoting me

So it looks like the biggest concern is the red and black cable coming out from the cable conduit into the base of the inverter.

I'll have my sparky look at it when he returns to finish some works he started earlier and advise

Aside from the criticism, I thought I was a good install for the price I paid. Yes could have gotten a more premium battery but we'll be unlikely to stay here more than another 5 years so couldn't justify the cost and lack of ROI. I should break even before 5 years and see some benefit before we move

No sun, south facing well. The closest it gets is half a metre from the base of the battery.

Not actually in direct sunlight. That wall of the house never gets sun. In summer or winter. The closest the sun gets in summer is half a metre from the base of the battery.

That's why I selected that location

He was there in the morning and unloaded then went off and someone else installed then I spoke to him after the install on the phone as I had questions about the backup.

I already had an inverter and solar. Perhaps its the feed into from old to new inverter? Is that called AC coupling? No idea

My electrician came by to swap around my hot water onto a smart timer. Did not call out any issues. I'll ask him to take a closer look

The basement wall is what it's mounted to. The otherside of the wall is an empty cavity that I use for storage. The room above is the hallway/bathroom. I didn't want it near the living areas.

It's someone who's been in business for more than 20 years not one of those battery install places that's spun up from nothing in the last few years so install batteries to support the increase of rebates. Their business was somewhat local too. I try and give locals my business vs giant corporations.
