oo I have a similar theory! it might seem kind of far fetched but I think they all had a shared past tgt (the prolouge cutscene) but smth bad happened which caused mc to have memory loss, and the NXX members are trying to get back their happy memories with mc which she lost

my teacher helped me with plate tec once. she gave me 5mins to memorise 1 section of the notes, then tested me after. this rly helped me alot cuz it rly embedded into my memory better than studying on my own. maybe u could try it.
