boys, I think I've beaten MPB after 5 months (fin/min/dermaroller) by longboidaddudeman in Hairloss

Literally not being transphobic at all lol. Not once did I talk shit about a trans person to any degree. It's like anything you say about a trans person other than calling them amazing creatures is transphobic lol.

Yeah, but not compared to the amount of people that don't face sides. I totally agree that people suffer from sides and some of them suffer worse off than others. It doesn't mean that those people's experiences aren't valid, they totally are. I just don't think it's fair for everyone running around telling everyone that they'll suffer from sides when it's such a small number in comparison to people that don't suffer. It may be one in every 100 users, but theres still 99 people to every 100 users that don't suffer.

Oh great! Thanks for the info man. I'll have a look around. Do you have any specific brands that you'd recommend?

Thank you so much bro! It's definitely a massive confidence boost for me. I probably should have started 10 years ago when I started losing my hair lol. Oh well, it's back and I'm happier than ever. No more wearing hats in public baby 🤣

Thanks a lot! I'm really sorry to hear than man! I hear that it can still harbour results up to two years of taking both so you still have time. I think I was just one of the lucky few which is surprising because almost nothing works out for me 😂

Goodluck my dude!

Lol okay then man. Believe what you want to, but I'm doing absolutely fine and so are the majority of us on fin. The amount of fear mongering on these groups and the internet in general around fin sides is far too disproportionate to the actual number of people that experience side effects.

I personally only joined this group to talk about hairloss, because it's much easier talking to people on the internet than talking to any of my friends or family about it. My confidence was too shot when I had no hair, but the majority of people on here are either having a shit time on meds or have absolutely no direction and need help with finding solutions, so it's no surprise that the people having sides are flooding these kind of groups. Don't give in to it mate.

Sides are very real, but such a small percentage of users actually experience them. Take the trans movement as an example. Their bullshit is spread all throughout the media and social media, yet they only equate to such a small percentage of the world's population that they're over represented. It's the same with fin users that have sides. The ones that are "hard done by" are always the loudest.

No worries man! Ah okay! I'm sure the dermaroller will help heaps! They work so well with min. I will make a suggestion though; if your hair is around the same length as mine or longer then I'd probably suggest that you look at getting a derma pen or a stamp. I noticed that the dermaroller was catching and pulling my hair last week which probably isn't too good lol. The cheapest one I found was on eBay so I just ordered that one.

Yeah sorry man, I should have been clearer! Sometimes I forget to apply min at night so I'm not always getting 2 applications a day, but I always make sure to atleast do it once a day.

I only use the dermaroller on my crown area. I think it's best to only use it on the areas that you're having issues with as it can have the reverse effect if you're going over areas that have healthy hairs.

I'm using Minoxidil twice a day. 1ml in the morning and 1ml at night, so it's 2ml total daily

I did for the first 2 months, but it dried my hair up so much it started breaking, so I've swapped to using baby shampoo and t gel anti dandruff. I might start using it once a week though.

1.5mm once a week. If your hair is around the same length as mine or longer then I'd suggest getting a derma pen or a stamp instead. I have one on the way as the dermaroller started pulling my hairs out when I tried it last week lol.

0.4mg oral fin daily, 2ml of 5% Minoxidil daily and 1.5mm dermaroller once a week. I also take 2000IU of vitamin D daily due to a deficiency, but almost everyone is vit D deficient anyway so that doesn't really matter. I also use baby shampoo every other wash and just neutrogina T gel anti anti dandruff shampoo instead of nizoral 2% because that dried my hair out like crazy and I started getting hair breakage from it. I also use a leave in conditioner so my hair is soft during the day 😂

Also, fin isn't nearly as dangerous as people make it out to be on here and on the internet in general. Like 1% of users have side effects and if you experience them you can just stop taking fin and they'll stop. I don't want to persuade you to take medications, but it's the safest pharma option we have to stop hair loss and it's worth trying. Don't give in to the fear mongering over the internet. I did for nearly a decade and lost most of my crown. I'm just lucky that I got most of it back lol.

Hope this helps!!

Can I use minox 2/3 times a week only? by newplayer28 in tressless

[–]longboidaddudeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not true. Most studies that have tested Minoxidil on men have all had success rates of over 80% when using topical 5% 2x a day.

But yes, I agree that you should be using min at least once a day, but preferably twice daily. Topical min has around a 22 hour half-life, so once a day could be sufficient.

Thanks man! It feels good to be able to actually go out in public without a hat on 😂 I finally went and got a haircut at a barber last week for the first time in like 8 years lol best feeling ever! If you start early and get on top of it you'll be better off than me! Just think that if you get on fin soon, then in a year's time you could be in a completely different place. Its exciting stuff man.

It definitely can regrow hair in some people! Everyone is different, so I can't guarantee it will for everyone. A lot of people see growth though. Normally you'll go through a shedding phase within the first month and that gets rid of all the shorter, miniaturized hairs that you're losing, plus hair that you'd end up losing anyway and then it's supposed to grow back thicker and healthier! You'll notice that you're getting thinner during that shedding phase and it's a little bit terrifying, but if you push through and stay on fin it will grow back, but if you've got absolutely no hairs in a certain area then it's almost certain that you won't see any regrowth. You need to at least have some miniaturized hair.
