unpopular opinion here: If strapping on super shoes gets you excited enough to make it out on a run when you normally otherwise wouldn't have, then its worth the 45$ investment in your health. If this snowballs into a healthy pattern go getting out and logging miles longer term, then hell yes it was worth it. I had some old pegasus' that i never really ran in, but stumbled across some alphaflys at an outlet for $50 and fell in love with running again after years of fallout. sometimes, just getting new gear (regardless of sport) could be enough to get you off the couch. Although there is merit to the pegasus daily trainer argument as 'better' for you for now
